This is where all the old Lemma Soft-specific posts are (i.e. Tales of Lemma 1, Shoujo Attack!, and some Hanafuda Club). They are here for old times sake ^^

All right, on another thread I said that if Ezzetabi finished up the Shoujo Attack! walkthrough on his website, I would seriously consider making a level editor for the game. He finished and so I said I would *consider* it.
So I considered and considered....
And I have decided...

Okay, I'll work on it
I'm in the middle of another secret project, though, so I'll just do the editor when things are going slow. Actually, I think I'll start tonight to test out the programming libraries I installed before I use them in the secret project. Also, if it starts taking too much work, I might dump the editor. (<-- disclaimer) But I will work on it.

Happiness is a good game with a good level editor.

Okay, I started on it, and it's going to work this way:
The level editor will be its own program/download and will play and edit user levels exclusively. This will make development much faster. I'll try incremental releases so I can get feedback about how stuff's working. This way I can detect any problems with some of the game programming libraries for *secret project* before its release

Oh, and you'll get an editor sooner, too

It sounds cool!
Where is the download link? Oh? you said it is too soon... pity. LOL

...Thinking about crazy levels...

I think anyone who's looking forward to that level editor owes Ezzetabi a big thanks- if it weren't for his devotion to the walkthrough, BL probably wouldn't have decided to create the editor. So thanks, ^_^
Oh, and thanks to BL himself too, of course. Really looking forward to this.
Maybe we could have a contest to see who can create the most insanely hard level

*to random guy* "YES! (I'm sure BL would agree on that)"
idiocy from the moron aside, I'm waiting for it... (no, I'm not going to make a level with only the fanservice power/tool/ability/whatever available. you perverted people can do that.)
is there going to be a limit on how many shoujos or restrictions on selectable powers in the editor?

I would say that the levels should not just be possible, but also fair and without pixel perfect timing.
Even if the 'keeping pressed P and click trick' is not a big problem anymore.

You get one shoujo power. Fanservice Shoujo. That is all.
Just kidding, of course. You'll be able to choose 1-8 different tasks/skills for each level from any of the shoujo powers in the game (even the secret ones

) Maximum of 99 of each shoujo type.
I'm going to work on it more tonight.
(the P trick is cheap!

)

I disagree Blue Lemma, I think it is nice you can pixel perfect without becoming crazy if needed.

Just an update that I'm still working on it

The basic basics are there, but the UI is still taking shape.

This is indeed cool.
Just to know, what IDE do you use?

I'm using Dev-Cpp and MinGW. However, for personal utilities, I use Visual C# .NET.

you had me wondering for a moment... what kind of perverts would make an endless amount of levels with only the fanservice shoujo? (don't answer)
regardless, you've managed to get my attention. how close are we to completion? and where are we (the "consumers" / "downloaders") going to upload the levels? are the levels going to be separate files? (I'll stop there for now)
(I am just going to love annoying Zeta with this... let's see... *goes off to write ideas for purely annoying levels with a surprisingly simple solution*)
