Well, I've finally decided to post a WIP for Nanoreno. I'm totally not sure if I can finish this, but I'm taking my chances.
*Night Line has no relation to a certain tv show, so please don't be confused. Also it's a working title, might change.
Summury
There is no place called heaven or hell. Nor does angels and demons live separately. All beings live and co-exist. That is the Night Line. A city in the stars that is always night, filled with monsters and beings from many legends, myths, and tales. This is the city that the protagonist, Eric Freeman, resides in.
Cast
Eric Freeman

A shapeshifter in the form of a young boy. He is part of a squad that sends beings to Earth to fix up any messes or problems that may disrupt the connection between Earth and the Night Line. In the squad, he is partnered or teamed to complete missions assigned from the head. Throughout the episodic story missions, Eric teams up with an array of eccentric, diverse, number of beings whom he can either bond with or push away, each with a little story to show.
He is a optimistic being who acts with a calm demeanor and adult-like presence, most likely since his form as a young boy is not his true form. Seeing that he enjoys formal wear, he is more than what he seems, literally. Most of the time he prefers to work alone, but will cooperate when he knows he needs to, but that can be annoying for some people.
He has a past that involves reincarnation and ties with Earth, but that is to be revealed once I write a bit more. ^^;
*More info will come later.*

This sounds *super* cool :O
I like Eric's sketch a lot so far! I'll be looking forward to see more updates ^__^
Good luck!

@ clua & deji: Thanks for the compliments. I'm glad you think of this as interesting, I'll work my best on it!
Here's the sketch of two beings that are in charge of the company and work the desk jobs of the squad that Eric works in. Also they are the employers.
On the left is the Head, the boss of Eric and his co-workers. He is a dullahan.
On the right is the lovely secretary of the Head, who is a rokurokubi.
Don't they make a swell couple?

@ Nellie: I'm sure her long neck is quite an 'attraction' at work among her male co-workers, lol
@ clua: I'm glad you're looking forward to play, makes me motivated on writing.
Here's a sketch update, though it seems that's all I'm updating right now...sorry, when I get to it, I'll refurnish the first post with all the good stuff.
The overdone mad scientist is this sweet gal of a witch. Using magic and science all over the city with her sidekick maid robot (which I'll update later).

I love the character designs and your style (especially that headless guy @u@). It sounds like the story will be a bit dark and fantastical, which are both things I like. It's also very interesting to see a young boy as the lead... even if he is more than he seems
