On his 87th birthday, Louis Roy- a retired professor in mathematical logic - waits for death and reminisces of his past. A past some might call unlucky or simply fateful. Listen as Louis explains the terrible misfortune of his earlier years, and his circumstantial intervention in a young girl's life that would change them both forever.

I must say, that seems a bit depressing... But, such is life, eh?
I'm going to guess it's going to be a kinetic novel, based on the content. I haven't seen one that's quite like this before. I look forward to seeing more about it!

Yes, there are several major events in his life that cause him to lose faith in himself, very similar to Mark Twain (author of Hucklberry Finn). They are dissimilar in a few ways however, such as that Mr. Roy is not or ever is in any sort of prolonged financial need ( Marl Twain ran himself broke on several occasions).

Too true unfortunately.

Just updated the WIP thread a few hours ago, flushed out the synopsis a bit plan on doing it again as I continue writing, it is difficult however as I don't want to make it seem like the story about an old depressed guy without giving away the manor in which he ends his time on earth. I also added a few cgs I made this morning.
