Poyo Yo! Demon [VN] [Fantasy, Shounen] [NaNo2013] [Done]

Synopsis
In planning. Something to do with summoning demons. You play the heroine...(not yet finalized)

These are original characters I've created a long time ago...and just kept drawing them over the years and started expanding the characters for my business cards. I've always wanted to make an Otoge (even tho I never really played one). When I heard of the NaNoRenO, I wanted to participate using these characters since I have never actually developed any story for them. With my friend, Lucathia, we are working on a very simple first chapter story for the challenge and hopefully make it more complex later.

Current Progress:
Art: Rough Background and Character arts; Two clean ups
Writing: Scripting 50-60%
Music: No idea...prob find it somewhere...
Programing: In the work

Hihi, not a graphic designer. I work as an artist at Gaia Online ^^ These characters were drawn for my business card I hand out during anime convention at the artist alley.

"Carries explosives in his suitcase". Deirdre looks awesome - she's the PC, yeah? I love blonde protagonists, I really do. Especially ones who dig revenge.

There are some boys' comics authors who seemingly struggle to write fictional girls who fight alongside the guys and still stand on their own. I won't name any right now, but I can think of two creators whose characterizations I find lacking. Meanwhile, in other shounen genre series, the fictional girls are compelling, relevant characters who are more interesting than major characters from shoujo genre series.

...Anyway, I'm curious whether Deirdre will be the protagonist, or whether it will be another girl. Let us know when you have time, and when it's appropriate.

Not sure how this will work as you play the heroine...I think we're making choices how you want her to be. But I definitely don't want her to be worthless like most otome game heroine haha.

Hello, just reporting on progress.
We are probably not gonna have a complete chapter by the end of March ;-/ My script writer is going to be busy this week.
But we'll try to get as far as possible. The art is also pretty rough. I only manage to clean two characters. Backgrounds and event cgs are also still rough... UI and music is the least of our worries haha.
Even if we don't complete it by then, it was great to even start a VN and we will most likely try to work on it some more afterward.
