Thank you all so much for your support! (: I'm glad there are other tea aficionados here (as I drink maybe 5+ cups a day... that may be where the idea came from). I'm also glad you love Chai!

Starting coding and GUI'ing today, figured out the small portrait thing, found some good music and also managed to define the narrator's text as a separate style (as there's no portrait). Baby steps, but I'm a Ren'Py noob so am ridiculously pleased with the small progress... ha! Will get back to work later tonight but have some freelance stuff I gotta get out of the way before more ~*magical girls*~. I am so excited! I'm still mulling over other love interests though... hrm. :9

Also planning the point'n'click features... the teas you find may or may not alter the appearance of Effie's magical girl costume (a la Card Captor Sakura, where she had a gazillion).

Ohhh the GUI looks really lovely. This game is gonna be soooooooo pretty! :sparkly eyes:

I love the idea of changing costumes based on teas! It would be a massive amount of work though, I imagine!

Ahhhh this sounds adorable! And awesome. I'm not really sure what to make of it—I'm assuming it's comedy? It seems really adorbz. I can totally identify with the distraught spirits there...I need tea to keep me from going in-freaking-sane.

When this is out, we who love tea should all play through it together while sipping our favorite brews.

(Of course, if people out there prefer other beverages, that's fine too!)

Hm, sort of comedy! Most magical girl stuff is a bit uncanny valley so there'll be a bit of comedy, a bit of drama etc. I was going to make it totally silly at first but then when I started figuring out the plot it could actually be an interesting story.

Really stoked you guys are liking the idea! More of the characters will be announced later today. (:

Done most of Eden's sprites and poses today! Here he is next to Effie for scale (she's not the tallest tree in the woods...)

He's going to be one of the LIs. Hooray!

Updated front post with the rest (hopefully) of the cast, started planning out the plot properly and got another sprite done. Pfiew! SLEEP.

Started scripting properly and the sprites are getting finished. School background is just (a really pretty!!) placeholder. (: Going to put in custom imagebuttons for the GUI when I get time, but it's fairly low on my list at the moment. Proceed with dialog icon is probably going to be a wee cup of tea.

The premise for this game is awesome. Like many others before me, I really love the logo and your line work. The art is just great I basically drink tea as if it is something I need to survive (so much so that it probably is) so I am really rooting for you!

Someone mentioned earlier that Herbal teas are considered by some to be non-teas, but in my personal opinion, fruit teas are the worse offenders for being a non-tea XD.
