Trial Presentation Tool (visual aid management for trial)
The background images in this demo will mostly be fake documents because the real ones are protected under various privileges and cannot be revealed publicly at this time. (Think NDA protected.) Generic menu backgrounds can be the actual ones developed for the "game."

The sprites, such as they are, will be the real ones. They will consist of things like arrows, boxes, and semi transparent .png images meant to highlight relevant document passages or otherwise draw the attention of a jury to that which is being stressed in the presentation.

Transitions and sprite movement will be exploited to create interest; thereby hopefully preventing slumber in the jury box. Menus will be extensive and complex; the goal being to enable access to any page out of hundreds of pages within ten seconds or less (preferably 5) and leave the presenter instantly able to demonstrate specific arguments concerning the meaning of that particular page.

This latter part concerning menus is where the application will most radically depart from the more common techniques of presentation using Powerpoint or OpenOffice presentation tool.

I realize this is a departure from what most of you are expecting to see in NaNoRenO. I hope it will not be too much waste of space. This is what I have time to do this month. It is, in fact, all I have time to do.

I will have some example pages available for showing by tomorrow.

Edit: Strangely, when I make a game in full screen mode that Prt Scr/SysRq button you use to make a screen shot in Windows doesn't work. This image is from a demo version I am making in 800x600 mode so I can get a screen shot. The Bloody Mary menu looks pretty cool against "scene black" in full screen mode. This is an early menu based on a fake witness list. Clicking a witness takes you to the menus to implement the plan for that witness.
