(I don't have a logo for it yet...)

I admit here I'm cheating. 85% of the script is already written (I'm missing a route that added itself when I was done with the rest, I couldn't refuse the character...) and the base for my background has already been 3Ded. Yep, 3Ded. Both phases took me a month each so NaNoRenO wouldn't have been enough to make everything. It's a big project.


Story introduction:

"When I was a kid, I once heard that legend about Eterneas, the city without death. I heard that people there were gracious and loved music above all. They lived in peace as no one dared to challenge those who had beaten death. Yet, for an unknown reason, the city disappeared one day.

I never thought, I would get to know more details about it as I struggled to find my own way."


Louisa Adler, demon hunter and sorceress, has been mandated to hunt three dangerous creature known to have defeated all previous hunters sent after them: The demon Belphares, the lich Ryan Wade and the dark elf Kardihl. Alas, as she finally finds one of them, her spells happen to be ineffective and she gets abducted. Meeting all of them, they decide to play a game to decide on her fate: She has two weeks to prove herself worth to keep living; in the meantime, she's not allowed to leave the house they are currently living in nor should she attempt harming any of them. In return, none of them will harm her either.

An adventure behind closed doors where what meets the eyes is not always what it seems.

So this is my first visual novel project at all so I have never touched Renpy before. I intend to keep a graphic style all in screentones as seen on the examples above since I want this to be a bit experimental in pretty much all ways. My main challenge is going to make the musics (It's been a while since I last made any). I know I could just toss in some royalty-free scores in but heh... I'm a masochist.

You ask me spoilers there! Yes, they're buddies. They've known each-other for ages. How they met is revealed in the story line.

Actually, the paragraphs between quotes are how the story is introduced in-game. The last two are more like a 4th of cover. They tie together as the story develops itself and the MC gets to know the guys better.

I really like the concept. I'm a fan of mythical type stories and it's cool that the MC is playing the demon hunter. The art style is interesting and different, too.

This definitely looks fun; I confess to having a major special place in my heart for locked-in stories. And dark fantasy is the genre I sort of live and breathe so, yes. This shall be closely watched by me.
