This was my first attempt at making a full visual novel... Nanoreno 2017 is soon... Maybe Match Made In Heaven will still see the light of day. Would it be dumb to try a reboot this year 'round? If I do end up doing that, I'll probably make a new thread.

I myself took advantage of a mediocre project from three years ago and turned it into something presentable in a JAM.

This sounds like a very fun idea! I like the art and the descriptions of the characters. Might even be easier to work on since you have more experience now.
