Pastel Rain (Title subject to change)

Genres: Romance, School Life.

Emi is a serious, no nonsense art student who plunges herself into her work with everything she has. Stoic, closed off and guarded, she veers away from people as much as possible. The only thing that bothers her is how people say her artwork often "has no soul" to it" and are "beautiful, but not moving."
Very soon, she crosses paths with Kou, a cheerful and outgoing boy who says he has to "join the art club NO MATTER WHAT". His desperation sickens her, as he seems one of those aloof geniuses and she doesn't want her hard work to be outdone by someone so mindless.
But as time passes and they interact will things get better?
Will the mere presence of him not cause her to roll her eyes or scoff anymore?
Will she be able to quell her first instinct, which is to punch him in the gut every time he flashes that cocky grin?
Will she be able to infuse 'soul' in her artwork?
And why does he have such strangely coloured eyes?

I don't think this is lame. It's a cute story =D. I'd play. Sometimes simple stories can be good. It helps us relax and enjoys things as they god. As for this story I like it. Reminds me a bit of a short anime actually, lol. The art is also very nice to =). I also like the characters and Emi's attitude for some reason XD. I can see a cute love story form. I wish you the best of luck with this game and am excited to play it =).

The heigh difference, omg! I love it but shesh so tall haha.

I like the tittle. If you feel like it'snot good enough you can always try to make it a litle more "more". Like Pastel COLORED Rain or something like that. Also remember to include the tittle logo in the MainMenu of the game, it has to be there!

I want to see more of this, good luck with it!!

Side Comment: I just finished my degree in videogame developement, and I'm really good at finding loopholes in story, character and design, and also providing solutions. I'm like a beta tester but for design instead of mechanics, haha.

Woah! It does look like an insane height difference! Really, Its just me cutting corners and drawing a bust up sprite for the MC since, well, she appears in the dialogue box? >.< Now I feel like including a freakish height difference, lol.
Pastel colored rain does sound better but it's longer and and.... gaaah. And sure, I'll add the title in a (hopefully) fancy font on the main screen once it's finished!
Side Comment : And thanks so much for the offer! But since it's this one man project and I'm extremely unreliable with a tendency to disappear, I'm not sure how involving another person will turn out.
