Very quick update:

Greenace has been working on the CG for Lyall's route. Here's a preview of the CG!

The game contains 3,037 dialogue blocks, containing 43,825 words and 233,584
characters, for an average of 14.4 words and 77 characters per block.
On that note, we're now recruiting a handful of beta (or alpha??) testers! We'll be doing it by route as soon as that route is finished, so recruitment will stay open until the first route is completely finished (probably by week 3-ish). I may or may not post a recruitment thread later with more info, depending on how much interest I get from this post alone, but basically, we are hoping the testers will be able to catch the bugs for us so we can focus on the other parts of production work, as well as provide feedback on the story/writing/art etc to see what we can improve (if we have time to do so). Even though it's NaNo and a rushed project, we still want to put out something of quality, so your feedback will mean a lot to us!

If anyone's interested in applying for the tester role, PM me!

Oh, wow, the main theme is so cool! It mostly gives me a sci-fi feel, but it's also reminiscent of more fantasy-ish themes, which is perfect for AIRIS. c:

Quick update before I forget! (No pretty art for update today, sorry :( )

Writing is going well! I got Lily's route .rpy file from her, added it to the game folder for a more accurate word count. Here is the current full word count:

OTL I think the game is ending up even longer than we expected.... This is not good I'm getting really burned out

Our composer has finished another two tracks for the game! They'll be doing a handful more for the game, probably around 7 or so.

Greenace has started Everea's CG. Since she's finishing the CGs at such a quick pace, we'll likely have 2 CGs per route after all, making a total of 6 CGs.

Our BG artist has also begun on the fourth background -- throne room in the palace.

She will be pausing her drawing progress for a bit to help us script in expressions and such for the routes because we still have a lot to write and we aren't sure if we have time at the end to script everything in ourselves (she's a godsend, I swear). Afterwards, she'll return to doing the second CG for each route!
