I like the GUI also! It fits your game imo, but if you feel like there's something to change, perhaps you should make a mockup
with the other art assets to decide better?
But really, everything is so pretty :A:! Good luck with your game
Aah, thank you so much for the suggestion! I ended up doing what you did and I think I sort of want to change the GUI?clua wrote:This sounds really interesting and your art is beautiful :A:!

FLOPS ON thank you! xDZelan wrote:Hmm, looking at that image, I do agree that the GUI doesn't really match the rest of the art. Doesn't mean it's bad, though. That'd be like saying, "oh, that shirt doesn't match your pants, therefore the shirt's suuuuper ugly." I stand stubbornly by my previous statement. :D

I just scrapped the latest 500 words of my script, RIPZelan wrote:That makes so much more sense! Now I can rest easy. cx
Don't you worry, at least you've got more words so far than I do. <: Although that may change after this weekend, if I can stick to my plan.

If it comforts you at all, you're not the only one - I was writing a scene that ended up shaping up differently than I'd planned it, but while I really liked what I'd wrote, I knew keeping it as I wrote it would mean changing other parts of the narrative and parts of the plot structure...
So I totally, totally get you.
Good luck! Even if it's difficult to write and plan, it really sounds like that this project is taking advantage of the strengths of visual novels as a medium. Your effort will be worth it!
