Yep, the features in the darkest skin tone are much more defined now on my monitor, and she's not looking too highlighted at all. (After switching back and forth between the old and new sprites a bunch of times, the red hair is also looking a little shinier? In a good way!)

EEeeee! The new sprites look incredible! I usually lean more toward dark-haired male characters, but I don't know... Maybe it's the facial hair, but I'm incredibly attracted to Tristan! His sad little eyes-downcast expression has me melting... He and Lucan look equally as interesting, personality-wise, so I definitely can't wait to start interacting with them both.

No art to show, unfortunately, though I actually did start Lucan's first CG last night.

Mostly I've been working on the script though.

I'm up to mid-way through Chapter 4 so far. It's a fast-moving story, which isn't really what I'm normally comfortable with. But, I promised myself to scale everything right back (including writing and art) this year so as I actually make sure to finish this is in a month.

Should still be a fun, romance-y VN though, even if shorter and quicker paced than my imagination would like!

(I'm so in denial about how fast this month is going...)

So, I've mostly been working on the script, which is going pretty well. I've just finished Tristan's variation of the beginning of Chapter 7, still have to do Lucan's, then actually finish the linear part of the chapter, and then, you know, finish the other chapters and the endings... It's fine, I'm all good *panicked breathing*

I didn't realise it was going to take quite so long to do the variations, so I'm behind on CGs. I also did a very silly thing with how I did the CG, so I had to save it awkwardly, which will add to the end game file size (something I will have to seriously think about for Touch of Fae's customistion and CGs...)

Still, it was fun starting the CGs, and it's making the whole VN start to come together

Sorry for being so quiet on updates. Been knuckling down to try and get as much work done.

I think I may actually get it done in the month!

I've nearly done all the CGs. I decided on 3 for each LI, so 6 in total. Only one of the endings for each guy will get a CG (the true love end). It's not as many as I wanted, but at least it's some.

Script is coming on really well.

I only have to write the two variations of Chapter 11 and the four endings, then I'm done!!! (I wrote the bad ending today).
