Here's a preview of of Louis and Marie Pasteur's sprites. I'm going to be using a sepia photographic style for the art for Hazel's microbiology route. For Zelan's English route, I'm going to try to replicate renaissance period art, since the Taming of the Shrew is a Shakespeare play.

@sqbr Sorry about the confusion! Bianca is the love interest for the English route. (I did briefly toy with the idea of a poly romance, but it didn't for with the story I had in mind.)

Jokes aside, HOO BOY I'm loving the majors available here. They're all pretty much my faves, but I HAVE been wishing that I went for something biology instead so that'll probably be my first go once this is done :d
The art's looking really adorable-- love the MC, she looks great, and I'm loving the arts for the figures as well. It's GORGEOUS, and I'm just really excited for this.

I'll be keeping my eyes out on this!

And yeah, I agree, I love the sprites for the microbiology route. The shading is fantastic, and I'm just really impressed with how quickly yoshibb works.

As far as updates go, I've been working on a variety of stuff (like GUI) for this game. I'll program the GUI fairly soon, but here are some previews of general things:

Thank you for the complement on my art ^.^ I'm trying a lot of these styles for the first time so I'm glad they turned out ok.

Anyway the idea got me hooked, plus the artstyle is very cute and the fact you decided to do another artstyle for each protagonist is such a great idea!

Backgrounds are pretty much down to what we can find that's Creative Commons, public domain or such. some editing will probably occur later to make this image match up to the visual theme of the microbiology route:

This sounds like an incredible premise and something I might have fantasized about when I still read physical books (though I admit, not when I read the kind of books you will be using haha).
