[A late nanoreno project that started last week, we're trying our best to finish by the end of the month and will hopefully use this as a basis to create new VN's in the future.]

A rookie guard and a veteran criminal are on their way to Titan Super Max when the unexpected happens.


--- ABOUT THE GAME / FEATURES ---
The game is centered around a single story line with a single ending.
The focus of Transport Troubles is to see how quickly we can work as a team to push a single story driven narrative with art assets.
We're hoping to use this game as a way to develop better story driven narratives in the future with heavier game play.

Hm, the story idea sounds promising, but doesn't really tell potential readers what's it about. (Like: What makes it interesting?) You have 9k words so far, so maybe sharing more of the content might help attract readers!

I mean, I'm always for GxG stories and the sprites look nice!

I can't say if I'm interested in more releases of the VN verse, because I don't know much of it (yet).

Heya, thanks for the advice. Guess as the writer I should step up and answer a few of those questions.

A more detailed, but hopefully not too detailed synopsis below, I will have Silicon Yak update the top post later...at work and on mobile at the moment (slacking).

In Transport Troubles you follow Amelia, a new member of the GCTS, the organization tasked with the transport and containment of prisoners in space.

During her first mission she is grouped with a strict mentor, meets an unusual and hardened prisoner, and is stuck being pushed around by both of them. For a first job, she will have her work cut out for her, but some things are not always as they seem. Will Amelia be able to walk the thin line between law and morality, or will the truth be too much for the rookie to handle?

As for the universe, personally right now I am centered around the militarized foundation known as the GCTS, as well as reoccuring characters and themes involving it...but I will let the Yak delve farther into any other universe stuff.

Well, I'm also new to creating VNs myself, but I think a good advice is to just keep going, and worry about the details later. Also, music really helps set the mood if you plan on adding some.

2. Would you be interested in seeing monthly or quarterly releases of a visual novel set in the same universe?

I like the idea of an episodic release, but I feel like I'd have to play the VN first before I can fully answer this.

Here we have Amelia on the left and some sort of Prisoner Thorski on the right in some sort of transport ship cockpit. Designs are still subject to change though. I still have so much art to make! @.@

Hello NaNORenO folks, I've updated the main page with some progress info. I am pleased to say that our writer has been crazy hard at work. We're almost done with our first draft and will have an edit hopefully done by this Thursday.

The baron here. As of now we have about 95% of the story complete, including a few different endings. The majority of the assets and game framework is worked over as well. Still working on some final CGs and polish of course.

Reporting in! All the art assets are done (sans UI which I'm still working on right now)! We have a total of 36 sprites including outfit, pose, and expression variations, 6 backgrounds, and 2 event CG's.
