Detective Ido of homicide has lost his partner to a crazy axe-wielding turtle. His chief has chosen one of those crazy cats of the highway patrol as his new partner. Ido knows how to solve homicide, she knows how to commit it.

Seated in her Dodge Interceptor they tear up the streets of San Francisco in hot pursuit of a serial killer.

Ah! Nano18! I decided against a new try at the Doomed Diner and instead go for a 70s styled crime story. Funk, a Kojak trilby hat, a colombo trench coat, muscle cars, a Smith and Wesson model 29 ("Do you feel lucky punk?") and tons of other references that will feel completely fresh because most people who would get them are ancient nowadays anyway

I guess I'd better show a bit of progress too. The sprites are taking a lot of time. I'm pretty confident I won't finish before the end of March (what else is new?). Here's a bit of Caitlin and the process of how she's drawn :



For the cat lovers : she's a Russian Blue and doesn't want to be confused with "lesser breeds" like the British Shorthair

Well, it's official now. I'll join the growing army of "not finished in March". Kudos to the ones who did finish in time. I hope to finish Cat & Cavy in April. No promises though, there'll be a lot of snooker in April
