I'm so glad you like them! I'm honestly excited to see how people respond. Currrently Anna's story line is the focus and it's about 20 minutes of gameplay. I'm hoping to add some more expressions, on sprites and the CG, and maybe another CG for the demo release. @_@ The tattoo is just a flat image I warp to sit on the arm, but it it's the easiest way to repeat a detailed pattern.

I wrote about 7k today and implemented;

• More player-chosen variables (aka more passive mentions of player choices)

• Worked out how to skip past menus WITHOUT LABELS

• Looping conversations that change responses, depending how many times you talk to the same person about the same thing.

So lots of stuff that's hard to show. >_>;;

Not a lot of art, BUT I managed to ACHIEVE THE ABOVE GOALS OMG. I have a looping/non-linear menu, I have less labels and I've got more passive mentions of player choices. I fleshed out Anna's path for the demo, now working on Murdoc's side!

Did a lot of work on GUI, and also expanded the writing -- it's at about 11k now, and this is intended to be a 'sample' or intro to the story.

On another note, I'm really jealous of how you can make different characters still have the same face no matter which way you draw them lol, I'm so bad at doing that. Every time I draw a character they have a different face!

As in, keeping characters consistent each time I draw them? I try really hard to be consistent, while TRYING to have different facial features and body types. It's more of a personal push, but it's been shown best thru this game lately. Thanks for the comment!

First, I have a tumblr dedicated to updates right here! Added a whole new intro sequence, shifted the other intro into the later parts of the game. I'm making some art assets & streamlining the story down so I can get a short demo out, with a focus on Anna as people seem to love them most! (And I do, too!) I also animated some of the sprites!
