I'm glad you like them!
-- I'm giving them away because they quite don't suit my projects, so if they suit yours, by all means, enjoy them!

Very nice stuff! How do you draw your shapes in Photoshop though? I'm curious to know :D

-- I make a frame in solid black on a white background by piecing together bits and pieces of designs I find elsewhere.
Sample frame
Sample frame
The finished black frame is then turned into a brush. I apply the frame-brush on a transparent background then add color, beveling, textures, and drop shadows. The background inside the frame is selected with the magic wand tool. I fill it on a separate layer with white then color, texture, and set to 75% opacity with the frame at 100% opacity.

Really beautiful. I'm using one of these games for my Chocolate Crush game. It suits the game nicely. Good job

I'd been admiring these for a while, and just recently found a game that will work well with them! Love the storybook theme of your blue celtic knot GUI-- and dividing the screen in half like a storybook looks amazing!

Thanks for posting these. :)

-- I made the NVL mode screens into half pages because small pages of text are easier to read than large sprawling pages, and they cover up far less of the backgrounds and characters.

I can't wait to see what you do with them!

If I do side_image, is there any way to do the show two window with it as well? As in a name box for the side image?

LOL! Of course you can!
-- Each of my sets set comes with a Textbox, a Name box, and a NVL box.

Look for: "File comment: NAME box". Save the name box (right-click > save-as) into your game folder (along with the textbox). Then in options.rpy, add this line somewhere near your textbox entry:

Code: Select all

style.say_who_window.background = Frame("namebox.png", 15, 15)
