Hello,

thanks for the share. Just saying we'll be using lots of those for our Original Multi Languages Visual Novel as Placeholders so we can focus on the rest of the game (script/gameplay/prog) before we go on hiring artists. :)

sorry for the little OT, but I'm rather happy to report to "thecodec" that the Linux version works fine, albeit I have only tested one route (to the good ending..) and is also very funny. I'm impressed of an binary engine for Linux working well. (people here known my costant griping about lack of care for *nix's cASe InseNsIVeNeSs...)

I was wondering. If you aren't super busy of course...that maybe you could do some park scenes at night? I am making a VN that has to have night scenes at the park. Thank you for reading this and if you happen to do them, ty even more! :oops: I can't draw or anything. I am only good at story telling.

Also, there is a new visual novel creator called cloudnovel.net

Would be cool if Ren'Py and Cloudnovel could mingle together. ;)

Okay, first of all, thanks Uncle Mugen for all your work and all you've offered the community over the years! Huzzah!

Secondly, I notice the masterpost hasn't been updated in about a year and a half, so I'm wondering if the background I'm looking for is perhaps already made, but simply not listed yet. What I'm looking for is a simple interior scene of a bedroom. Specifically the bedroom of a high school girl, though I'd at least take a look at any bedroom backgrounds.

Anyone know if one already exists?

uncle mugen ^_^ for 34 pages I was convinced that you are making the OELVN's capital named mugen city.

now I have lots of questions about sketchup, would you be kind and enlighten me please?
1- do you use sketchup pro or make? my guess is pro, if that's the case is it possible to achieve the same thing with make?
2- do you use any plugins to help the design?
3- any plugin for rendering?
4- do you use a pen tablet for post processing in photoshop?

Sketchup 8 Pro and Sketchup Make... There is very little difference between the two except for a few new tools and stability... I switch between the two since some plug-in's only work with older sketchup while some only work on new sketchup make/pro. I use a lot of plug-ins but if given the chance to choose which ones are my favorite then I'll have to go with Vali Architects Sketchup Plug-in's. Keep in mind that they are not free nor are they perpetual (license-wise)

It depends on situation but for fast renders I use FluidRay. For slow detailed renders, I use either SU-Podium or IRender Nxt... both require a lot of post processing...

Nope, I only use Tablet strictly for drawing since I want the nibs to last longer because they are kind of expensive...
