I want a college classroom BG. Like this one photo: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... ssroom.jpg
Thanks
OK... that can be done... here...Kokoro Hane wrote:Do you think you could make a cave-room? Nothing modern; it's a cave, with a small wooden table with a candle or lantern lit?

those things?a) an one-man office (maybe with a PC, but it isn't necessary http://bayintegratedmarketing.files.wor ... 54_std.jpg)
b) a reception (like in a modern office http://www.select-a-room.com:8080/asla/ ... eption.JPG)
c) a workplace with a computer (something like this http://www.seografie.de/wp-content/uplo ... splatz.jpg)
OOH PERFECT. THANK YOU! ^o^mugenjohncel wrote:OK... that can be done... here...Kokoro Hane wrote:Do you think you could make a cave-room? Nothing modern; it's a cave, with a small wooden table with a candle or lantern lit?

But um... you know... what really made this difficult is that once again, I have no sketch to base on and spent way too much time guessing things ;_;
So to people who are requesting or will request in the future, can you include at least one or two rough sketch... it would help Uncle MUGEN a lot to have one or two sketches to speed things up since I usually have about 1 to 2 hours free time to do them and most of the time is spent not on making them but imagining them...

Have you tried enabling OpenGL?Asceai wrote:Hey Mugen, I was trying to use SketchUp with that gigantic school model you posted. I've not used SketchUp before so I figured I'd just fly through it, snap renders and process them later, but I find SketchUp is really slow at handling that model- every few seconds it freezes for 20 or more seconds. Are there some settings I need to tweak to get SketchUp to work well with really complex scenes like that? I'm using SketchUp 2013- should I use an older version?

OK... I also included a transparent version where you can put anything in the background... "POOF" (Disappears)dmasterxd wrote:Hey Uncle Mugen. You have some really awesome images on here! Mind if I request a train interior?
I guess it's machine dependent... is it cheating if I tell you I'm using an i7 with GTX 780ti and 32Gig RAM and the files are saved in an 500Gig SSD-HD?...Asceai wrote: Yep, OpenGL was enabled. The model displays just fine in wireframe mode but it's hard to tell what anything is. Going to try with shaded..

But you might want to disable use max texture for now...
OK I think I have a workaround for this... Disable Shadows for now...Asceai wrote:i7, GTX 670, 24GB RAM and the files are saved to a 250GB SSD.
Disabled max texture, and it works okay in shaded anyway, but now I'm thinking this isn't actually the problem at all. When I'm just zooming around the school things are fine, but if I click on a menu or something it locks up for a few minutes. I'll keep playing around but I'm not sure what the deal is.
Awesome, that seems to have done it. Thanks!mugenjohncel wrote: OK I think I have a workaround for this... Disable Shadows for now...

WHOA! thank you so much man, this really helps!mugenjohncel wrote:OK... I also included a transparent version where you can put anything in the background... "POOF" (Disappears)dmasterxd wrote:Hey Uncle Mugen. You have some really awesome images on here! Mind if I request a train interior?
