These songs were originally supposed to be for a game I was making a few years back, which got abandoned. Not going to probably ever use them again, so they're yours if you want to use them.

The songs are all pretty archaic sounding, and were originally made for a dark and mysterious mood. There are 4 in total. All of them should loop, if my memory is correct.

License is CC BY-NC 3.0, which can be found here. Credits go to Amorphous if used.

Song names are practically random. In alphabetical order:

Barren - an ambient, sort of creepy song. Starts up kind of slowly.
Nostalgia - A more tranquil, peaceful piece, except maybe the beginning. Originally for flashback / reminiscing scenes.
Sinister - More intense than the other songs, for puzzling or mysterious situations.
Urgency - Also very slow, rather tense.

They're all MP3s; I'm not sure which file format is the most preferred one for VNs here. I don't have the original source files with me, so these are the highest quality files I have on hand. If anyone needs a different file format or higher quality files for these songs, please tell me.

Labyrinth is written in the same instruments / style as the others, and sort of acts as a 'main theme' for some event or character, has an overall archaic and mysterious theme. Very heavily melody-based compared to the others, and has some techno influences as well. Same license as always.

I don't know why no one else has commented here. Just downloaded the tracks, and wanted to say that they're gorgeous. I love the unique feel they have to them. They have a bit of a scratchy and techno feel sometimes, but they're quite beautiful pieces.

It's just one song this time, although the forum doesn't allow attaching of MP3s. Recollection's just slow piano and strings, possibly for an emotional or romantic scene? The game I had in mind while making this never got past the 'mood music + concept' stage, so there were no specific scenes I had in mind while writing it.

It's not easy to find music with a mood like this as free resources. (And some aren't done very well)
I played on Recollection by accident on loop for an hour and I didn't even notice/get annoyed at the repetition. x'D Good sign.

Just to let you know that we used your music in Night at the Hospital- it was like your music was made to be in this game. We used all of them except Labyrinth because it had a shift in tone halfway through but everything else was perfect. Thank you for your great compositions!

Hi there, haven't really been around recently, but I wrote some more music that I have no use for, so feel free to take them.

I came up with the song title before I wrote the song. Was trying to go for a really intense, urgent song, kind of like the ones that play when the hero needs to get out of an exploding building or something. I play far too many video games with escape sequences.
Mainly synths and strings. I fooled around a lot with the music program, so there are some notes that were placed randomly. The version on Soundcloud fades out, the download here loops. They might sound subtly different because of the random note placement.
