I will be use "Oriental Beauty" as a theme for one of the characters. Eventually, I plan to use some of the other tracks, but in a different VN~

Probably not, or at least nowhere in the near future because I'm not very used to Chinese chromatics in digital music yet.
So yes, you can stick to the old track.

Puppet without her hand sounds great, gives off a music box sounding effect. Melancholy of the Soul and Heart ~ Sorrowful Dance would probably be great for a forest. for example "The mystical forest". I can just imagine a forest full of mist, with that music playing softly. really gives off a mysterious effect.
