Thanks! I've found a way to draw a bit faster so they probably won't take 2 months like the girls (and I already have the basis for the new ones, so it'll be easier!)

Hi there ^^
I said that it wouldn't take 2 months to get one sprite done this time, I was wrong, sorry, it took 1month and a half for only 1 sprite >.<
Well, I had to try new things to draw faster, and in the end, the sprite was done rather quickly.
I'll use the same strategy in the future, and the lines will be a bit thinner like there are now.
I'll also change a bit my way of shadowing and the colors I use (more contrasts, etc), sorry if the first sprites look...err...dull?
And yeah, sorry for only getting one sprite done >.< And for using always the same colours, black red and white, seems like they come often theses days 8'D
Oh, right, here is the new sprite:

There aren't many chubby girls in the game, it's a shame. I like chubby girls.
She looks a bit shy, so her expressions may be...according to this character... I dunno, maybe I should have done more....

Whatever, happy new year and merry christmas, I promise next time I'll come up with a better present XD

I hope they satisfy you, but remember that if you have any problem with them (need a specific expression, need bigger sprites), I can probably do that (it would be the least I could do), don't keep quiet, tell me! It's not because it's CC that it can't be critiqued!
And again, thanks a billion times for downloading them, it means a lot to me

Thanks a lot ^^ Glad she suits your taste, indeed she's not a beauty, but she's got a cute aura (like those shy girl you can meet everywhere, their shyness make them act cutely, being embarrassed over (almost) nothing, blushing with (almost) no reason). And also: every girl is either pretty, beautiful or cute

WoW, thanks a lot!!

Of course you can use the poses for your OCs, it's never easy to find a pose for sprites, and then to find others so the sprites wouldn't be all the same, so feel free to use them!!
And good luck on your otome game!! The first game is the hardest to make but it's totally worth it!

Question! Are we allowed to edit things about them? I didn't notice anything about it in the first post. A lot of these are awesome to me and would be very useful, but for my story the colors are off >w< Thus my question.

That's true, I'm sorry, I didn't write it on the first post because it was implied by the CC 3.0 I put on the title, but of course you can edit the sprite as much as you want!
All you have to do is credit me, but your alloxed to do everything with the sprites!! Change the colors, add some things, etc, you can do everything you want!
Have fun with them!

Put "Didules" somewhere and that's enough for me to be happy

About credits, it's hard to know how to put them.... I have to admit I didn't know what to do the first time :S
In the end I found a small code (I don't remember where

) that did a nice thing, it puts the text in the middle of the screen and disappear after a few seconds, it was nice to do credits!
Here is what I did (in my game, so the text is just the credits of it XD)

show text Text("{b}{color=#FFFFFF}Here comes some text of the credits {/color}{/b}" , outlines = [(3.3, "#000000", 0, 0)]) with dissolve
pause 2

Unfortunately it's not perfect, since it's ugly if you put to much text, so I had to put several time this code for each person that had helped

Oh, well, it could still be useful, if you want to try

Thanks for the tidbit! That works really well. Timing'll take a while to figure out, but it's neat that you don't even have to click to get to the next part <3

Also, I've taken a screenshot now that it's working and uploaded it~ Here's a little peak. Please...Don't hate my failure at recoloring things black x-o

Hey, first of all you haven't failed at all (I suck at recoloring), and now a good news! I think I might be able to help you.
I still have my PSD files of these sprites, so I just have to make simple layers to have them the color you want, are you interested?
I can't make them perfectly good for you, but it would look like that:

It may be easier for me to recolor everything than for you, so I thought you might be interested (besides, this kind of editing isn't much)!
Are you interested?

If so, in which sprite? Which colors? (If you have some of them edited, you can show me and I'll change the color according to yours!

)
(Because sprites are better when they fit your game the most they can)
