Free Music (Creative Commons Zero)

#1 Post by Trixar_za » Wed Sep 11, 2013 4:35 am

Here's a bunch of music I composed while playing with MusiNum. They were originally midi files that I converted over to mp3 using Solmire.com and edited in Audacity to normalize and add effects.

First up is Slow Rise, which is my personal favourite of the bunch (hence the separate zip file):
slow_rise.zip
(592.69 KiB) Downloaded 350 times
This one didn't sound too great as a midi file, but after conversion and with a echo effect, it turned out pretty awesome.

And then the rest of them:
others.zip
(1.46 MiB) Downloaded 270 times
Suspicious has a phaser effect applied, Creepin is pretty much unmodified and both had their tempo modified to make them exactly 60 seconds long. My first few attempts before creating Slow Rise.

They all seem to have a horror/suspenseful feel to them which probably has to do with me being on a horror kick these days. They're Creative Commons Zero so you can do pretty much anything with them except sue me :P Enjoy!

Here's a few more experimentations with slow rise if you're interested: http://trixarian.net/music/

Edit: Check out the newest song @ http://trixarian.net/music/tranq_soft.mp3 - It's my first try working with softer tones and after taking Nanashi's advice to make the string synth quieter, it turned out pretty well. It's my new favorite :)

Wow, All are really good! o_o
You did a good job! I think that I'm going to use them for my VN, and although they're CC Zero, I'll credit you because you did a good job with all of them.
I wanna learn how to do that sort of things ;A;
