How do you go about working out where the shadows/highlights go?

I will try to start these up again soon. Maybe next week. The last one is almost done, I just need to do the expressions. The expressions are my least favorite part, I'd rather do another pose, haha.

Since I'm not really feeling the other sketches I've done atm,
I'm thinking about doing 1 generic woman and 1 generic man in this style (maybe just 1 androgynous?)
With a few different hairstyle/outfits. Plus the .PSD file for people who want to customize a bit for maybe a main character or make-your-own-character type thing?
They would be single pose only though.

I don't know if anyone would be interested in that? I could include the programming for a create-your-own-char thing, since I've done it before.

Expressions are your least favorite? Interesting! I hate new poses but I could do expressions all day.

I'm always interested in character generators! Especially when the art is so nice. I really just like playing with them though.

I am still working on the basic create-your-own character images. It isn't going very fast, because of school work, but It's getting there, bit by bit. Sorry about that!

It includes these sprites, but also backgrounds and item images.

I will post everything over there from now on.

As a start up I've created a new sprite, Keri.
It's a PSD file, so that you can edit the colours and customize your the expressions.
(It's because I really don't like doing expressions.
