However, this applies to section GUI, Audio, and Miscellaneous because they retain to their text format. Unlike Backgrounds, Photographs, and Characters that are image based. Unless somehow you have OCR (Optical character recognition) capabilities that could work.

BG's are allowed to be used in both Free and Commercial projects.
Modifications allowed only are cropping, color/hue change, photo filters (to match project overall art) and scaling. No other modifications permitted.
Err... this term only applies to these 60 particular BG's because they are from an existing project... also, you can post them now...

It must have taken a lot of time to do this table of contents of the whole Creative Commons part of the forum, you did an amazing work!
Good luck on keeping it up to date though, because things are going on rather fast on this kind of thread ^^

I actually used this list to find my own CC BG and music thread ^.^ It might be worth noting at the top of the OP that the miscellaneous category also contains things from the other categories.
I'd also make the suggestion that this would be much easier to use and maintain as a Google spreadsheet that could be filtered at the users' leisure -- it's powerful to be able to only browse the entries that interest you (for example a certain license type.) It'd also prevent missing multiple category entries. Alternately, I guess anyone browsing this thread could just use ctrl+f and search for the thing they're looking for. (That's what I ended up doing when I couldn't find my post under backgrounds.)
