Your pieces are absolutely beautiful! I used Doki Doki and First Love in my visual novel Starry Dreams and credited you on the page and in the game ♥ https://mikomikisomi.itch.io/starry-dreams

Thank you for making all of these, I hope I can put some of your lovely pieces in my work again in the future!

I realize it's been a while since I updated this, so apologies. Anyway, here's another upload! This one's a relaxing piece for piano, clarinet and strings with a slightly classical feel.

Update. This one's a lot more upbeat than what I usually write. Guess it would work pretty well for anything energetic, or maybe just for general background music.

Hi! I love your music and I've used a few pieces in my visual novel, Golden Hearts & Crimson Souls (post: viewtopic.php?f=43&t=44776 ). I just wanted to ask: would you like to be credited as Alcaknight or anything else? Thank you!

Hello Alcaknight,

Your free work is amazing, but I´m wondering if you also accept Comissions for Amateur Visual Novels and if so, wich are your rates for Openings, endings, background music, lenght... etc

I love your work and I use it for my game, but when product is finished I would like to use a more comercial soundtrack, and since I love your work, first I would like to know how affordable are your prices... ^^

Salut!

First of all sorry for the late reply, things have been busy lately so apologies. I do occasionally take on commissions when I receive requests, though not often. I don't particularly have a set rate because it depends on how difficult or complex the track needs to be and such, but I'd say $15 for a 1-2 minute piece is a good guideline. Also I don't have a great deal of experience working on openings/endings as I tend to mainly write BGM stuff. I could maybe try and work on some, but it might be better to recruit someone more specialized in that sort of area.

It depends on how many pieces are required though because this year I took on a commission for a large quantity of tracks, so I can't say for certain that I'd have time. So I'd have to consider that too, but let me know if you're interested and I can always consider it. Also I'm glad you've been able to use some of my music in your game, keep up the good work.

Also it's been a while since I last posted something here, so here's a fairly recent composition. This one's a waltz written mainly for piano and strings, this one's in a classical style, but it could be used for a few different moods.

It's been a while again, so here's a relaxing little piece I wrote. It'd fit nicely for general 'everyday' scenes as it's quite calm and laid back. I could also see it working for any romantic scenes too.

I just want to say that I have loved all of your music so far. Having many projects that I'm working on, I want to use your music in all of them. (It's so hard to pick which ones to use though, since they're all so amazing.)

Thanks a lot! I appreciate the kind words. Also sorryfor the late reply lol, been busy.

Also it's been quite a while since I last posted something, so apologies. Here's a little piece I wrote on Halloween, I was going for a sinister sort of tone, and it'd probably be perfect for any kind of Horror or psychological VN.

Hey Alcaknight. Just wanted to let you know I used some of your music in a game I submitted to this years Indie Game Maker Contest. I used "I'll Be There" as the title and good ending themes, and "Interlude #2" for the, well, interludes. If you're interested, you can check out A Stranger in Need. Thanks for making such great music available for those of us who are less musically inclined.

I realize this is one hell of a late reply, but no problem! Thanks

Anyway, sorry for not updating this thread in so long. I kept meaning to post here, but for various reasons I've been busy with a lot of other stuff. Also I'm not able to upload to soundcloud right now, as I've run out of space and can't really afford to delete anything or buy soundcloud pro, so for the time being I'm posting on dropbox.

Adagio in F - https://www.dropbox.com/s/wammkmag0tajq ... F.mp3?dl=0 (Classical style piece suited for any sort of romantic or emotional type scenes)

Believe in Me - https://www.dropbox.com/s/8r6xs3i68u7iv ... e.mp3?dl=0 (Piano solo piece, also suited towards romantic scenes)

December - https://www.dropbox.com/s/281linr62nc90 ... r.mp3?dl=0 (Short melancholic piece with guitar, strings, piano and drums)

Morning Snow - https://www.dropbox.com/s/3rhk2cgexnqo9 ... w.mp3?dl=0 (Slow minimalist piece which might work for some neutral scenes)
