Here's another piano piece, guess it kind of fits a contemplative mood.

Another solo piano piece, went for a tranquil/atmospheric sort of mood.

Thanks. For composing I score everything in Finale, then I import it into Ableton to master the sound. For the piano and cello I use two virtual instruments, Alicia Keys and Tina Guo Cello. That's pretty much how the majority of my compositions are done.

Here's another cello/piano duet. This one's quite a bit darker than usual.

Update, here's something for piano/violin/cello. I was going for something heartwarming but slightly bittersweet.

Here's another update, this one might be better suited towards a fantasy sort of setting. It's what I had in mind at the time at least. It features Flute/Classical Guitar with some pads added towards the end.

Here's a few little updates.

The Sleeping City: https://soundcloud.com/alcaknight/piano ... eping-city - Drew on a few jazz harmonies for this one. Mainly supposed to be a relaxing little piece that's somewhat evocative of the night. Also probably my favourite out of this bunch.

Parting Song: https://soundcloud.com/alcaknight/piano ... rting-song - This was something I actually improvised on the spot, but I kind of like how it turned out. Despite the name it's supposed to be more nostalgic than sad. There's also a small reference to Rydia's theme from FF4 towards the end - (though I'm not sure if that'd be in the realm of copyright or anything)

Amefuri: https://soundcloud.com/alcaknight/piano-solo-amefuri - Supposed to be somewhat pensive and reflective. Wrote it while thinking about the rain actually, hence the title - Rainy Days.

Morning Shrine: https://soundcloud.com/alcaknight/morning-shrine - My attempt at writing something 'Eastern' sounding.

Canon Improvisation: https://soundcloud.com/alcaknight/sleep ... rovisation - Wasn't really planning on sharing on this, but I ended up recording it anyway so I thought I may as well. Just a little improvisation over Pachelbel's famous 'Canon.' Mainly had music for sleeping or studying in mind while I was playing so it's pretty subdued.

Hello Alcaknight! I just wanted to tell you that I used your piece "Familiar Warmth" in the game I'm working on ATM. I just released the demo and there are two scenes in the demo where I used your piece. Thank you so much for sharing, you're extremely talented. I had a really hard time finding good music to some of my scenes in the game, but this piece was just perfect! I might use some of your other pieces as well. :)

Here's two little piano solo pieces.

Alone: https://soundcloud.com/alcaknight/alone - This is a sad little piece I partly improvised. There's quite a bit of modulation so you could also call it quite mysterious.

Evening Melody: https://soundcloud.com/alcaknight/evening-melody Just a nice little BGM piece. Wanted to come up with something soothing and this was the result.
