I like drawing a lot, but I have a hard time drawing different poses + angles...

Therefore I am making sprites!! Will probably start off with my OCs, but I'm hoping to draw other kinds of characters.

I plan to upload my sprites to itch.io, but I need to figure things out + how to organize my sprite files.
Feel free to use my sprites in your VN-making! Or game-making.

- They are under this license : https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/3.0/. As far as I understand, you may edit the sprite as you desire!
- Do not use them for commercial purposes
- Appropriate credit can be given by crediting my art username "duokhaydraws" in the credits or whatever. (If possible, you may optionally link to this thread or my itch.io)

Note: I start drawing on an A4 @ 300 DPI canvas, so these images may be HUGE.

After testing, these image files are REALLY big in Ren'Py (At a 1280 x 720 px viewing resolution). For this viewing size, I like to reduce the image of the sprite to 25%. This can be done by editing the image or coding in Ren'Py. You can also do this in Ren'Py with the code

1. First sprite: Green-haired girl (OC)

I made this sprite intending to practice Ren'Py's layered sprite function!!! I'm not sure how to organize the image files yet (like image layers like eyes). Some of the layers are a bit messy..
Actually, this file is a single .psd, and you must make your own sprites.
You have to open the file in a program where you can access layers. Then you have to mix and match the face parts and save the image.

2. Generic Girl (OC)



Same dealio, there's a .psd file for you to assemble expressions! This time, I included some sample sprites, and some face images separated (for layered sprites in Ren'Py). Images are at original size.

Edit 2020-09-13:
For layered sprites - I didn't separate the Hair layer from the Base, so the eyes etc displayed OVER the hair. Now, I separated the hair layer for proper displaying!
