*bump*

Er... I got my new tablet today. :'D It's my first time ever using a wacom bamboo comic tablet and a medium sized one too. Trying to get used to it now but there is one problem... I can't use it in my SAI for some reason Q.Q crappy mouse-drawn lines keep on getting worse and worse. Dx
I'm probably moving to Illust Studio for the moment until the support center replies back as to why T.T

This is my first time ever using Illust Studio so the other requests might take more time than supposed to be till I get use to the functions of it. :'(

My deepest apology m(_ _)m

Aw, I would love to but I decided I'd take things for the better first. Don't wanna pile up my must-study list right now :D

Illust Studio is quite awesome anyway! Like a combination between SAI and Photoshop. I personally still haven't gotten the chance to try it myself, but I've watched people drawing amazing things on that program. *A*

lol, yeah, i was trying it now, and I am loving it more than sai now >:D
I'm glad there was a book I've bought few months ago which also includes a lot of tuts in different softwares... it made me get used to illust studio in just a few hours :)

It was a bundle in my tablet :) along with other softwares like comic studio, pixia and suisai. I haven't tried the other though, I'm not much of a fan for pixia Q.Q

Well, I'm quite glad I can read japanese or this softwares would be for naught TT.TT Ah, but still I'm already used in SAI. I called support center earlier and they said most probably it's impossible to get my new tablet work on SAI cause I'm using win 7. :/ But they'll call me back later if there ever is one. I might say goodbye to my SAI(which cost 5000+ yen) and use illust studio for the whole time if they won't find a solution :'D

Aww, it's so mean when tablets make problems because of Windows. When I first bought my tablet, the pen pressure wasn't working at all because I was on Windows Vista. And in the shop- they assured me it was especially working on it. =_= Tried it then on XP and there were absolutely no problems. Worked in 7 too with it fine. But- my tablet just hates Vista. XD And I disliked it too. :I

It's good that you can work again now! ^^ I'm curious about the results. :3

Well, if the worst happens, I just need to get used to illust studio. :) I was checking out the stuffs there and found out it actually saves a lot of time :) If only I haven't promised my friend a karaoke date tomorrow, I would indulge myself in learning illust studio. :/

I'd practice a bit more on illust studio before I actually do the requests again ^^" *fidgets because she was actually planning on doing the character designs for her VN but it needs to be postponed after finding out SAI might be an impossible option* TT,TT

Uhm, I'm using SAI on Win7 with a Bamboo and it works fine >:
Never tried IllustStudio, though; I don't know japanese and I'm too lazy to learn what means what by experimenting or reading tutorials >>; It looks as an amazing software, though >_<

My bad about MyPaint. It's a nice program for me though but it may not suit your needs 'coz it's barebones software. (read: no layer modes and even the basic move/select tool)

So you'll have to figure every effect you want from scratch like how you do it in real life.
