I think the problem with the pelvis and hips are mainly because of the clothes(the body itself without the clothes easily show all parts in a more defined way). The resizing on everything else is noted and will edited. And the canvas is 500x700, but the canvas in which I use to draw and edit is 600x900, which leaves enough space to finish the rest of the drawing. Thank you! :)
You've drawn a form fitting shirt and skirt, so you still need to work on refining how you draw hips and pelvis either way.

600x900 is not a size I would draw at for a sprite. Try doubling it.
Okay and thanks! I'll get started right away ^_^

Hello! I've been watching this thread and it's good to see you're listening to people's advice and critique. I hope you don't mind me redlining your work because there's a lot you can still improve on it if you want to work on it more. I guess I'll just let the redline speak for itself (though it kinda echoes a lot of what people have already said). I'm not an expert by the way, but I hope my knowledge will help you out even if a little.

Also, I agree that 600x900 is not the best size for drawing a sprite. I usually do mine above 2000 pixels on both dimensions and then scale it down later. This actually helps thin out the lines and clean up some mistakes.

Keep practicing and have fun! :)

Wow! The image is great help & really easy to follow ;D
I'll try to follow along your guidelines.
And I never really thought about the canvas size when I
first began to draw, but I see how it would make things easier :o
Thank you! :)

I saw your updated picture and I think it was definitely improved over the originals. :)

I think one of the best resources for drawing anatomy is looking at good reference material-- here are a few tutorials I found on the female figure. Hope they help!

Ah!
O.O
I can see you've improoved a lot since your first draft!
OuO
I do have a some advice...

1. The hips and legs don't connect. You might want to make her thighs wider, or move her legs further apart.
2. Something seems off about her head...maybe her jaw is too high? Try bringing it down a little.
3. The fabric folds could use some work. Try google image searching school uniforms, and watching how the fabric folds. This should help the shading too!

That's it! Hope I helped!^^
