Current WIP:

I'm not happy with the chairs & tables so they need to go out and have something else come in.

Overview of the ship model I'm using as a base for the outside images:

Slightly more developed WIP and the mess background:

Detail paint-overs and final passes still needed - and toning down the line-art. I think there are some unattractive areas of dead-space so I'll have a look at tidying them up too. Not sure I've spotted anything else?

I could do with a good way to add some 'glass' to the windows but I've not really had any success with what I do normally for external pieces. I think the glass should a lot more transparent looking out rather than in (from a bright lit exterior).

Don't worry! I still have tumblr but I changed the name as I couldn't get a deviant-art page with the original name so I've updated my tumblr to match my new deviant-art account.

Glad it's not broken.

Yeah, I figured I should get a Deviant-Art page as, though I like Tumblr, Deviant-Art looks good for organising your art together better and keeping collections of favourites and tutorial stuff.

Been busy with work and stuff so not as much time for art as I would have liked.

Some rough tree and rock sketches, I was looking at a tutorial for the rocks but cannot see a credit on it to give. Trying to do quick sketches and then redoing from scratch as a quick iterative learning process.

Some project work for Blackcross & Taylor's Devil & the Deep Blue Sea Project:

I've been using Google-maps in 3D mode for a good reference of real places, or at least a reference for what one would be seeing at that point. I've slightly fudged the background in the above, I think you'd probably be closer to the buildings at the end of the quay but I wanted to get some more background in.
