Character Portrait 「Critiques Much Appreciated」

#1 Post by DVXRedstar » Tue Nov 17, 2015 4:01 am

Hey everyone! I made a character portrait for a side character whose design I thought of and immediately rushed to my tablet to draw. This was drawn about two weeks ago but I decided to put this up today because I've been worrying about the hair and how it was shaded, I'm not sure if it's good or not or if there's something that should be changed in particular so I would really like any feedback or suggestions any of you could come up with about the hair. Really, anything in general would be very helpful, it doesn't just have to be the hair. Thank you for your time and don't hesitate to be critical. Thanks guys!

(By the way, if any of you are interested, his name is Rokurou)

I think it looks awesome. I see nothing wrong with the hair. Everyone is their own worse critic. I wish I could draw like you :) Keep up the good work.

Ah, thank you, I really appreciate that. I know the hair isn't absolutely terrible but I think I'm going to keep toying with it for a little while until I can find a perfect medium to keep myself satisfied for a little while. And I'm sure you could draw like me, better yet, you could even surpass me! Thanks again.
