Hm.. Character Designing!

This is my first ever thread on this forum site.. and I don't really know what to put up..
I'm a newb at this and I've been on many other sites, but this one is structured a bit differently..
Anyways, I'm trying to design characters for my VN, or KN, or whatever I decide to make it so I thought I should ask here as well as to what you guys think!
Perhaps by me doing this it will also help other people when it comes to designing their characters as well!
Here goes nothing I guess!


After hours of sketching her traditionally over and over again, I made up with a hair style and outfit design (even though details may change throughout the character design process)

Right now I'm trying to narrow down what colours her hair and eyes should be, I wanted them blue and red however not everyone would like that, and I did find other variations that looked so much cuter.



I posted this picture on multiple sites, and got all of their votes, I made the voting unlimited, and then I'll be picking the top four combinations before I start working on the outfit's colours. I feel like this would be the best way to get a main character that is equally liked by myself and others, especially if they felt like they were apart of the creation process.

My personal favourites are; A, C, D, E, G, H, and L.
So.. which one are all of your favourites..?

E and G for me! but, I guess it would be easier if you choose the whole colors of the character altogether it will look nicer too

Thank you for both of your votes, I know I didn't keep this up for very long.. however... ;..;
I just really want to start finishing the other characters. (Kinda need her finish for that)

Must like king had suggested I really don't mind if you guys want to fill out the outfit yourself. seeing how everyone has a different view on what it could look like >3<

Left if you wanted her skin to be white right if tanned, you said you wanted red eyes so I thought this gonna fit o3o if you wanna more I can do it (with your suggestions)

but, I guess you are worrying a lot about the colors, you could just do it the best way you like it most and most probably others will like it, too

I'm not really good at picking colours.. but I can design stuff.. which I feel like those two should go hand in hand ;..;
Both of these are beautiful though, however the pink one wouldn't really fit her personality, but it's so gorgeous!

That would be sweett~ But I'm also slow at lineart and making pictures..
I think that whole body took be an entire day....

Thankfully I can colour and shade skin really fast, I love colouring skin the most...
I lack in hair and eyes though >3<
and my clothing is sub par which is why I love your colouring so much. It has such a bouncy and lovely style to it.
I haven't talked to you much, but from the way you type I feel like it expresses you quite well.

I liked the first one most with the black shirt and white skirt and everything~ just try giving her a teal hair and she will look perfect! //you do hair just fine
