King's looks like the kind of library I would like to have to visit in my hometown - afternoon light streaming in, homey-feeling, shelves just packed with books. Robo's is the kind that's more of a cross between a library and a museum, like the New York Public Library. One that I would like to visit from time to time just to revel in how huge it is, in other words.
Basically, I think King's background does a good job of conveying a cozy space, and Robo's does a good job of conveying a wide-open space. And I would visit either of your libraries in a heartbeat. c:
Actually, I was thinking the same thing. It's pretty interesting how much our reference images have differed in terms of the architecture (don't know how to phrase this...) and mood, even our cities weren't very similar.
