Oh hey everyone, so like um, this is my art thread! I work hard to do my best at drawing,
with a heavy emphasis on making my art appear quite cute. I can't claim I'm a super good artist, but I'm trying to get better!



That's a recent picture of mine, showing a few characters for a game I'm still working on, and doesn't really have an information page yet. I feel like it showcases my art decently well, however one thing I should probably mention, is the only female in the picture, is the person in the middle.

I'm not really good at drawing guys, but I'm also not willing to sacrifice cuteness to make them masculine, so if anyone has tips on how to help with that, I'd be appreciative! Besides that, any criticism, or comments are appreciated!

Also, I went to your Tumblr and found that your sketches look nicer than your lining. I suggest that you do a fast sketch, clean it a bit, and color it instead of lining

and I tried my very best to implement those strategies, with a picture I drew today.

Honestly, I don't really know if it looks any better than my other art, or if its notable that I
did that at all, but I mean, I guess that was my first attempt using that technique!

I do see some improvements in the shape of his head and neck good job! You will get there be patient

Hmm..Another something I can say you maybe wanna improve is the color of skin tones, it's better to choose a reddish color for the shadow than grey

Oh wow that really makes a lot of sense!! I'll definitely have to try some of that stuff out, and work on my hair shines some more...

In hindsight, shading faces with greyish blue colors... Is probably only good if on the extreme end, and when it's one of those evil face shadow things... Haha thanks, that helps very very much!, I've been really having a lot of trouble with shading skin!
