Hello! I am Hoshi!
Welcome to my art thread. This is a place where I dump all my art. I haven't drawn digitally for long so there are very few of them. Critiques are very much appreciated because I would like to improve more as an artist. Thank you for stopping by. OwO

I think everything is obvious here, if not feel free to ask (:
madfathercover.png
-Added red and yellow overlay on top of the image
-Dark multiply on the characters
-Made the mad father (I think he's the father?) in the middle
-Orange and white outlines on the characters
-Yellow shines on the eyes
-Sad and more visible eyebrows on the front girl

I think you need to focus on basics of drawing and coloring more. You can go to Sycra on YouTube, he has lots of good tuts on that (: also, Pixiv tuts are great, too

rem is best girl (actually that's a lie it's crusch)

I really like your hair experimentation! Particularly the second image - it seems like you're going somewhere fun. Your linework is good too, it looks like you've got a sense of how to build up small lines to make attractive shading. Proportionally, though, the heads are a bit too big for the body... something I don't notice as much in your digital art. If I may take a shot in the dark - do you do the sketch with the paper flat on the table in front of you? Depending on how you're sitting, that can skew the perspective you're viewing the picture at and make you think the head is a lot smaller than it actually is. Or, alternatively, you might not be photographing it straight on! It looks like you are, but it's hard to tell.

if i could like, hack reality, i would make all traditional artists able to use the resize tool irl.

How you sit and how you work on the drawing is a concern that is pretty important in traditional art. Make sure you've got good posture! I love seeing non-digital stuff, so I totally think the effort you're putting into it is worth it.

also i'd love to see an inked version of that rem drawing she is so GOOD and PRECIOUS and CUTE and the scene where she cries like that is so perfect.....

Ahh thank you so much for the feedback and Rem is definitely the best girl!
Yes I didn't realize that the head was bigger until I inked the whole thing up (due to my very messy sketch OwO)
As for the posture I usually keep my sketchbook flat on the table and then draw although I turn it around a lot to get a better angle. Digital art gives us the feature to correct our mistakes while we're drawing but traditional art doesn't. Even I wish I had a few tools to tweak my drawings. :(
I still do more traditional than digital maybe I'll most some more here as well. I just got into digital art and it's been like 6 months?

Anyways, I am planning to ink Rem soon so look forward to it! Thanks again for all the feedback I really appreciate it!
