Hello! My friends and me want to start doing an otome game, and I'm in charge of the art. I'm a beginner so now I'm focusing on improving so I can start doing sketches of the characters but I'm not really sure if people like my art style, so If you could tell me what I should improve and what do you like I would be really grateful!
This is a sketch of one of the secondary characters of the game
guess wich game I used as reference lol.
Thanks for reading!

Hope you don't mind me scribbling on your drawing *A* /nervous sweat
The first thing I realized was that her face is just too long and her eyes position is too high. The side part of her head is too narrow so it feels like her hair doesn't have volume.
Here, I shorten her face and added more volume to her head, also fixed the position of her eyes, all using liquify tool on photoshop. Your coloring is good already, especially on hair and eyes. You just need to practice more on anatomy. You can do it! Don't give up! ^^

Ahh, thank you so much, that was really helpful <3
And if it isn't any bother, could you please send me a screenshot of how you see the sketch in your pc? It's because I think my monitor widens the images so I see them more wide and thus the face chubbier ;-;
I hope I explained myself lol. Again, thank you!

Hmm.. if your monitor stretch the image, I think the problem is you're using the wrong screen resolution or you didn't set your display setting correctly. Try looking at a picture on two different devices (your computer monitor and maybe your phone?) and you'll see the difference =)

Yeah, you were right. It's going to take me some time to get used to this resolution ;-;.
You are my life saver, thanks <3

Just curious... what desktop resolution do you use right now?
Try drawing a circle or use the biggest size or your round brush in your photoshop to make it. If it looks skewed/ellipse instead of perfectly round, then you might need to adjust your display setting...

I don't really know wich resolution I'm using now, I just noticed that the monitor option was on "wide" and I changed it to "original".
I tried drawing a circle and it looks perfect now!
Thanks for the help!
