That's a definite improvement from your first sprites so I hope you can continue to get better this quickly! The shadows have really improved, but I think it could do with further darkening in places where shadows are cast, such as where his sleeves end and exposes his arms. You might also want to consider using slightly different hues for the shadows than the base tones, and I think less saturation on the blue shirt could help improve the look. The last thing I can think of to suggest at this point is to add brighter highlights into his hair. Hair is quite shiny, especially under light, and it tends to look better if bright highlights are added. Depending on the effect you're going for, there are lots of different ways light can be applied, but I'd probably avoid putting an overwhelming amount on as that lends to make the hair appear blob-like rather than in strands.

Sorry for double post!>_<
but I'm just so confused, maybe all of you know I'm working on my VN project now.
I've made the sprites, and some of them already colored.
But I'm doing (i think) some improvement on my drawing etc.
(since the last time i have tablet but I didn't use it, I'm just too lazy Dx)

Should I change the sprite again? I mean to redo it, coz' I think it'll be better?
Sorry >_<
and thanks in advance :3

Well, I think your colouring and style altogether has improved greatly Yuuki. And I understand that you might want to redo the sprites for TiL that you'e already done.

I think you should, if you feel like you should. Because it's always better if you are completely satisfied with how things in your game look, right? I want you to be happy with what you put into the game :)
So redo them if you think they need redo-ing ^^

Hope you don't mind I did a redline. :) Or rather, I did a blue-and-green-line xD Sorry for the bright green!

It feels like you either got the understructure wrong or you didn't use understructure at all, because his clothes are waaay too baggy. It looks to me like he's a young kid dressing up in his dad's clothes. The face is ever so slightly uneven, just enough to be visible to the viewer. The right side of the face is slightly rounder than the left, and his left eye is bigger and too far away from his right eye. His expression needs work because in combination with the slightly tilted stance, he looks high. I love how you shaded, though it wouldn't hurt to add some texture to the clothes.

Hope that helps C:

Folds in clothing are placed randomly. And shadows are random too.

May I do a redline?

Your art and colouring have improved so much in just two months! I am insanely jealous. D:
I am seriously so in love with your colouring. ;_;

Lotus made some excellent comments, and to add on that, one thing I think you might benefit from is flipping your image over while you draw, fixing anything, then flipping it back.
It's sort of horrific how everything looks flipped, at first, haha. But! The end result is a very nice, symmetrical-ish picture.
Also, drawing clothing folds in the right places can help make his clothes look less baggy! (But what do I know, I'm terrible at drawing clothing folds luls.)

@lotus : thanks^^, of course I don't mind!
I need advice etc. too make my drawing looks better! as you said I didn't understructure it.
or I must say I never do any understructure for all of my drawings at all >_<
I'll try to make understructure next time and try to add some texture for the cloth! xD
Thank you so much! and it absolutely helps a lot!

@yonyonyon : Of course! just do the red line! I don't mind :D
I never can figure out how to place folds and shadow xD I think I need to search about it... or start to experimenting again

@aestate: lol, thanks ^^
I'm glad it didn't look odd, since I'm just using my feeling and adding color here and there >A<
your coloring is good too! :)
I still need practice though! and experimenting with colors. also I'll try to flip my drawing too next time! Thanks xD
need to practice anatomy, cloth folds etc. I hope I can do better!
