So while searching for ways to break out from the deadlock of integrating Live2D's sdk in Fungus... I came across this...
http://jokerscript.jp/
Live2D unity web demo
Joker script is available free of charge.
Also there is no limit to the commercial use.
* In the case of corporate use and must be consulted
It's still in Japanese though... but hey, Live 2D fans can certainly use this since it's o
fficially supported by Live2D itself! Welp the way things work are kinda similar to Ren'Py (at least the hardcoding part

).
It can also use MMD (MikuMikuDance) models.
I might consider migrating to this engine once English documentation (at least for the Live2D plugin) comes out.

That's pretty cool! From looking at some of the tutorials, it uses KAG3, which basically makes it KiriKiri for Unity. I might look more into it sometime.

This actually piques my interest a lot. Where do we find out about the English instructions? Is someone actively translating the guide?
EDIT - Google Translate seems to be enough for now. Have it up and running, with a little reverse engineering let's see what I can work out.

Jokerscript is directly related to Tyrannobuilder though so if you have things to--oh wait you can't really do much with just vanilla Tryanno. You need the full triple choco fudge which is Unity.

Yeah, the Unity implementation seems to be really good. Lots I can do there. Might be worth investigating this live2d option too.

I wonder if it's okay to revive such a dead thread, but I recently found someone who translated Jokerscript's official tutorials:
https://natsutl.wordpress.com/2015/10/13/joker-script/
It's not complete (yet?), but I might as well bring it to light.
