I followed 8onis tutorial on how to apply a name change and also to get it said in the textbox, but when I make a 2nd page it doesn't transfer over. Does anyone know how to do it? I messaged 8oni already but got no response so I don't know if they are still active with Visual Novelty.
edit 6/5/2019: I think I got it to work. I put go to next page instead of going to page 2, then I played the test game from the very beginning and it shows up correctly.

I don't know if this will work or not, but since nobody else is responding, here's something to try.
Instead of creating a new page, try duplicating the page where the name change worked. You can them rename the duplicated page and modify it to meet your needs.
