White Face (Closed)
Hey. I'd like to apologise to anyone who has expressed interest in the project, but it hasn't been active in a long time. Thank you all and best of luck with future projects.

Re: White Face is looking for artists
Just stopping by to say that I love your VN concept. It sounds like a really fun game and the mystery behind White Face sounds particularly compelling. Unfortunately though, I'm not much of an artist. However, if you're ever in need for an editor or a proofreader in the future, I'll be more than willing to lend a hand.
More people might be willing to respond to your thread if you provide more detail on what you have accomplished so far in your project and what your expectations are. For example, is your script mostly done or is it still in the outlining stage? How far are you in the coding? For the sprite artist, I think they'll want to know the number of sprites, as well as the number of expressions, poses, and the clothing changes for each sprite. The number of backgrounds and CGs you will need will also be helpful as well, for the other positions.
Good luck in your project! I really hope to see this game make it to the Completed Games thread someday.

Re: White Face is looking for artists
Thank you for your reply! I do appreciate the offer for proofreading, because I have the worst habit of not checking my work. I was worried that I wasn't providing enough information, too. I guess I was trying to make sure that I don't give away too much with the story.anon2045 wrote:Just stopping by to say that I love your VN concept. The script is at 25,000 words currently, so roughly 45% complete. Right now, I'm just writing the script. Once I've finished a "chapter" for lack of a better word, I'll go through it and put in the code for transitions, hiding/showing sprites, etc. I'm also in the process of streamlining the script so that I can minimise the need for creating an excessive amount of sprites, backgrounds and CGs. I found that I was getting a bit carried away with it and need to do some editing.
Here's a rough list of an artist's workload thus far. This is subject to change as I'm trying to streamline it, as mentioned earlier.
Sprites/Characters
Naito Chou - Four variants, four expression changes, no clothing changes, no pose changes.
Kaneko Hoshi - Six variants, four expression changes, no clothing changes, two pose changes.
kaneko Chiyo - Five variants, five expression changes, no clothing changes, no pose changes.
White Face - Five variants, all of which have different poses.
Fujimoto Akina - Three variants, three expression changes, no clothing changes, no pose changes.
Kaneko Masaru - Three variants, three expression changes, no clothing changes, no pose changes.
Backgrounds
Eight in total. Some include variants.
Kaneko’s Room (Day, dusk, night)
Chiyo’s Room (Day, dusk, night)
Dining Room
School Hall
Classroom (Day, dusk)
Cafeteria
Library
Forest
CGs
Five in total.

Re: White Face is looking for artists
Would my art style be okay?
(sketches and some color work can be seen on my commissions page)
I'm looking for projects to work on for examples of what I can do.
(Since I can't seem to finish writing my own stuff... >3> )
Not looking for money in this case though. Just a chance to work.

So is this inspired by the Slender Man meme . . . ?
