Hey, everyone! I'm currently recruiting one or more artists for an ongoing project of mine, tentatively titled Jinsei no Mondai.It's a Slice of Life game, with a mostly lighthearted tone, but it does deal with some darker themes as well. It tells the story of Ryoko Miki and her friends, as they struggle with friends, relationships, and their own issues, all the while preparing for exams.
It features 6 romanceable girls, each with a good and bad end. The finished script will probably be around 100K words.
Positions Open:
-Sprite Artist
-BG Artist
-CG Artist
-GUI Artist
I'd need 7 sprite sets with 7-8 expressions for the girls, and one partial set of 4 expressions for the protagonist's older brother. In terms of backgrounds/CGs, I'm not far enough along in the script to give anything more than a very rough estimate, but I'm thinking around 30 backgrounds and 15 CGs. For the GUI, I'm looking for all the basic screens, plus a CG gallery.
Preferably, I'd like an anime art style, but I'm fine with other styles. I'd prefer to communicate over Skype or email.
This will be a free game, and I am but a broke student, but if you would like compensation, I would be willing to do some sort of skill trade (I'm a writer/programmer)

May I kindly ask what your part in this project will be? You are looking for someone to write the script, several people to draw all needed art, someone to code, someone to compose music and even a voice actor.
If all these people get together, what do they need you for?

ah. i really want to help out in this project since it's a GxG game and there are only a few of those stuff out there. i also like this genre so i'd be happy if i can be a part of this. i was gonna aim for artist position because that's what i wanna improve on most (i don't actually have any experience in making visual novels but i wanna learn and experience creating one so yeah, here i am) but it seems like you don't need anymore artists so i'll apply for the writer position.
i also want to try for voice acting (though i only have experience in radio ad recording for a project in my school). if it's okay that i'm a total noob in these stuff then please do pm me. i have a link for my portfolio in my profile so do check it out if you're interested.
