Looking for an artist
I don't have a name for the project yet, but perhaps we can work together on that? I have a few stories in mind, and I can write that, I just need an artist for my visual novel. Preferably one who does it for fun and doesn't want money.. Because I can't pay anything. If you're interested, let me know.

Re: Looking for an artist
Seeing that this is your first posting in our forums, you're probably not yet familiar with our requirements for Recruitment threads, which, for your convenience, I'll list here once more:
All threads in which someone is looking for people to join a team, from now on, are required to contain all of the following four pieces of information:
All threads in which someone is looking for people to join a team, from now on, are required to contain all of the following four pieces of information:
- 1) An overview of the project, or a link to an overview. Recruitment threads that are not created for a specific project but generally for a company or organization of sorts ("headhunting threads") will no longer be allowed in this forum.
2) A description of what sort of work needs to be done, for example "Need a character artist" or "Need a script writer". For commissions, we strongly suggest giving an estimate of how much of that work will be necessary. (Examples: "Four character sprites in 4-5 poses each" or "A dialogue script of approximately 60,000 words")
3) A description of what work has been completed on the project, if any.

Re: Looking for an artist
Except the things about rule, I want to talk in more relaxed way, that before you look for an artist, you should write at least 50% of your story (while it's indeed suck when the story is changed and you have to do the art all over again, but let's just forget about that), make a list of characters, backgrounds, CG, with detail, then ask people here with more detail about your VN. What if your VN is R18 and your artist didn't know that, and s/he doesn't want to do it when s/he knows? It will be a problem.Kaiteybuggish wrote:I don't have a name for the project yet, but perhaps we can work together on that? Secondly, make sure you know the deadline, but you have to understand that if you don't pay any staff, then you can't expect much for a good quality within the deadline. It probably will be delayed, too, because they will just think it as their hobby, not work. Don't expect them to lead the project. You should be the one who do so, which means, the one who should contact each member constantly is you, not the opposite. If not, your members will most likely lose their spirit to do the project.
Lastly, I don't really put a commission for any of my work, but I can do it if I'm not busy, and that's a rare event for me.
