I'm a solo person looking for a programmer. I'm new to programming with Ren'py, so I'll try to teach myself as much as I can before March, but I could use some help.

I plan on doing all the art and writing, so you won't need to worry about designing the UI.

The VN will be a slice-of-life, romantic comedy set in a Canadian suburb (the protagonist is a housepainter). There's some mystery elements to it, and they'll be multiple endings.

We can talk using Skype (non-voice chat), Twitter PMs, or Lemmasoft PMs. I'm open to other options as well.

Many breaks are approaching me and I'd like to get into creating art even more (I've gotten more active lately, hooray me!). So, why not try my hand at helping someone out! (Rather, I think they'd be helping me.)

I am an artist.
I am OK with illustrating most things, however, I will not do any NSFW content as I am a minor.
I can do a variety of styles from anime to semi-realistic to cartoony, you can see my art at my tumblr art blog.
I am OK with all genres, however, I favour BxG a little less than the others.
Backgrounds are not my specialty and I prefer doing sprites a lot more (and I can do sprites a lot better, too), but I can do them.

It's a horror game with romance element with your familiar haunted mansion and spree murder story. I'm feeling super zealous about this game. The main character was kidnapped to a mansion during her field trip with a friend and they have to find their way to escape from the hand of the killers.

We should be able to contact through Skype and using Google Drive as the cloud storage for convenience!!

What I'm looking for is a writer who'd like to join up with me. I've done most of the programming and art but I don't mind helping with the writing as well, even if it's not exactly my strongest suit. The game has a male protagonist and features two obtainable characters (boy and girl). The girl's route is planned and done, just the ending have to be finished writing. The boy route was never started.

I'm open to rewriting whatever doesn't make sense and collaborating on the story so that it flows better overall. I can send a sample of my writing to anyone interested so they can see if both out styles could mesh well together.

I write on Wattpad and have two completed self published works and have attempted to write two visual novels which are both unfinished. As a writer, I even critique other people's stories so I generally have a good sense of grammar and great storyline. I'm not a perfectionist but I strive for the best in my writing.

I would like to join a team for NaNoReno as a co-writer since it would be short and something I can use as an experience when working with other people and being able to complete my first visual novel. No payment is required, however it would be nice. I'm open to any genres but I'm most likely to accept if I'm interested in your story and am able to write for it. GxB and BxB, romance, horror, and mystery are my preferred genres but others are welcomed as well. I like writing. In fact, I love writing. Especially slice-of-life, but I also enjoy mystery. I don't like writing horror, and I hate writing comedy; I think you can be funnier when you're not aiming to be.
What I also like is working together. In fact, I'd love it if someone bothered with figuring out code, art assets and music assets instead of me! Then I can focus completely on writing.

I've written a few Visual Novels before ("Nice Day", "Of Love and...", "Reaching Out", "Eye Love" and I wrote for the "VN Maker Sim" project), and I'm currently in the middle of two (finishing up a Jam project with undue delays, cradling "Ens Causa"), but I'd like to add a third to that list, preferably working with other people to further expand horizons and be open to things I hadn't considered by myself.

So if anyone's looking for a writer, and especially if you want to delve into the mystery or slice-of-life genre, shoot me a message. NaNo projects only, of course. I'm entirely open to working on projects where you already have an idea of where you want to go, as much as I'm open to, "I don't know what I'm doing yet, but I know in what direction I want to do it".

This is my first chance to work on a visual novel, so I have no experience. I'm either a writer, a music performer, or a programmer, and am willing to work any genre, although I don't know too many of the tropes involved with BxB.

I've been trying to break into writing, but the most I've successfully done is writing for my RPG group as GM. I have little to no trouble planning logical branching paths based on choices, and I enjoy developing characters. English is my first language, and I can edit. I am perfectly willing to co-write, as well.

I've played the French Horn since middle school, and have been a member of one of the top brass ensembles in the world. I have no experience writing music, but through my ensemble experience have picked up a fair bit of music theory and can possibly help in that regard. I am willing to record my playing any brass instrument, given a week to pick up the instrument (except French Horn, Mellophone, and Baritone) and another to learn the music.

Most of my programming experience is in functional languages (Haskell, lisps, Clojure), but I have worked with Python and find it easy to work with. I do learn quite quickly in terms of programming and (from the documentation I've read on the Ren'Py language) can quickly get to speed on programming anything someone may need.

Art is wizardry to me, so don't expect much there besides a strange talent for color-coordination.

I can communicate through Skype (voice or text), TeamSpeak (I have a server available for use) or, given install/sign-up time, anything else. A PM would be best to first contact me.

EDIT: I work ~40 hours a week, but it's not particularly draining, so the rest of my time can be dedicated to a project, provided I can get to sleep in time for my job.

Hello everyone, This will be my first time actually completing a visual novel and participating in a game jam, but I've been in the community for awhile. I personally have a lot of experience in designing games as a game design major, but I'm pretty shaky in coding.

While I may be entirely useless as a coder , I'm pretty good at art and design. I'm an artist who is also proficient in writing visual novel dialogue. I've written a lot of drafts for potential visual novel projects, so my writing's very tailored for writing VNs. As such I have had a lot of experience in writing dialogue , creating scenarios, and branching paths. 

As an artist, I am able to do a lot of different tasks, I can do GUI, CG, backgrounds, and sprites. I love character design and hope to get the opportunity to work on sprites for a potential project. I also really love making game logos and titles.

For CGs and backgrounds I'd be able to do between two and four images depending on the complexity of the scene or background. 
I can do the GUI completely, design wise definitely not coding wise.
For sprites I can probably do between two-three sprites depending on the complexity of the sprite.
I do mostly Western art, but I'm an anime fan so I can tweak my style to suit your project. 

I'm definitely interested in BL games, horror games, psychological games, art games and yuri games.

I don't mind working on adult projects, but don't expect me to do any NSFW images or write sex scenes I don't have the talent or the will to take that beast on. I also don't do furries.

 My specialty is men, and horror.I also can draw muscles, and I will gladly draw shirtless guys.

Heyo! I am back for a second year (since last year I didn't get to participate -CRIES-) of the Lightning Party, AKA NaNoReno!

I'm actually looking for a team once again for a concept I think will surprise people to see come out of me. It's NOT an Otome this time around (Surpriiiiiise!) ;3 It is a romantic comedy... but Ecchi-fied.

Yes. I said it. I'm looking for an team that is willing to play in Ecchi world (BxG). There is NO nudity, but there will be dances against that line both in writing and in CG work.

The working title: "Maid With Perfection" - Set in modern day, despite the fancy almost late Victorian Era twists and themes. The player is a new Master to an estate and must quickly learn the ways of his new life, including how to live with his personal maid and how to deal with competition. There will be comedy. There will be romance. There will be maids. Mild violence. Maybe boobs. Insanity shall ensue.

Roles Open:
--Sprite Artist - There are in concept 4 characters (1 male, 3 females) that will be visually seen. Any remaining characters that show up during the story (since it hasn't been written yet) will be silhouetted. Can do CG's if you desire =)
--CG Artist - There are in concept 3-4 CGs in the game, mainly focused on 1 or 2 characters. However, if we can expand the game to have more (Possible Romance Options?!?!?!), then this game will be an even better game. Can do Sprites if you desire =)
--Composer/Musician - Original music in the style of the game (Victorian era-esque with a modern flair) would be beautiful to have! <3
--Assistant/Co-Writer - If you are as crazy as me and wants to join the writing process, you are more than free to contact me to join in!

I will be once again chewing work as Writer, Programmer, SFX designer, and GUI/BG Artist. There MAY be a chance that the game will be voiced, but that depends on availability from actors in my talent pool.
