Once again, our entire team is very grateful and would like to thank all the VAs who auditioned and took interest into our project; there were several outstanding recordings, making the choice difficult, but in the end, we all decided that the role of Merona will go to... Mel Gorsha! Congratulations!

[EDIT 2]: Hello to all the VAs who auditioned for Merona's role in Nova: Synthesis Creaturum! I was originally going to announce the results of who got cast today, but due to communication problems with our team, I am postponing the results to Wednesday.

Nova: Synthesis Creaturum is an upcoming free fantasy visual novel for teens and up. For more information, check out our main thread or our official website! Our team has been working on Nova for little over a year now, and we're looking a new voice actor for our female MC, Merona.

Deadline:
March 15th, 2015.
Please try to contact me (thestringsofgold) by then. I won't accept anything else after that date. If I feel that I need to extend the deadline, then it is a possibility.

Rules:
-Only audition if you know that you can handle this project and its planned length. It is estimated that it will go on for another year or so, but this is only a rough measure. It is important that you are capable of staying with us for a long time. However, if you are accepted do need to quit later on, at least have the courtesy of informing us.
-I shouldn't have to mention this, but do not try to use any forms of bribery, blackmail, or other kinds of manipulation for your audition. None of that will be tolerated.


Recording and Contact Information:
-Send me links or files of previous works/demo reel(s) you'd like me to hear (even if you already have done that; it'd be easier if everything for you is in one place)
-Record either in a .wav or .mp3 format.
-Save it as "charactername-line#_yourname.wav" or "charactername-line#_yourname.mp3" (ex: Merona-1_JaneDoe, Merona-3_clouds123)
-Send your auditions to me via PM by linking it in a download (ex. Mediafire, Dropbox), linking it to a Soundcloud/other audio sharing site, or email it to thestringsofgold@gmail.com

-There are no age limits or restrictions.

Character Description:
Name: Merona Kovene (mur-OH-nuh KOH-veen)
(Main Character- let me know if you're interested in fully voicing both thoughts and dialogue, otherwise dialogue only is a much lower workload)
Age: 16
Description: A bit maternal for her age, empathetic, playful, curious, and imaginative. She can get easily distracted and may be over-optimistic at times. Likes to look at the brighter side of things, but also tries to stay somewhat realistic. Not accustomed to feeling sad/negative for long bouts of time.

Voice type: Normal teenage girl voice that is in a middle to high voice range; realistic sounding. Not cutesy or in an anime/cartoon style. A bright voice that makes the listener feel cheerful.
Audition line 1: "Hopefully, this isn’t a false alarm and is the real deal. My theories would come true!"
Audition line 2: "Well, I can’t skip out on this homework unless I want to fail this assignment and possibly repeat a level seeing my current standpoint."
Audition line 3: "Oh gosh, are you alright? It looks like something has been biting into your arm. Do you need me to get anything for you?"
Audition line 4: "*laugh* Don't worry, I didn't find that offensive. I would try to counter back with something, but I honestly agree with everything you've said!"
