Hello!
A friend and I are creating a visual novel (an all-ages, harem shoujo called WNKN, or Watashi no Kokoro Ni) and I am discovering that I need another composer for this game. There is a lot of music that I want written (examples: theme songs for each character, including the protagonist, school music, music for the student council, bad end music, etc.) and I'm pretty sure that it's not quite fair to leave one girl with all the work.
I will need at least 8-9 pieces of your choice written. There are 17 songs total that I would like written, and you may choose 8-9 of your choice that you would like to write. Again, I have another composer that can work on the half of the songs that you do not choose to write.
The list of songs that I need written is HERE.
Unfortunately, I can't pay a composer (since we are all teenagers with no jobs other than being students and are making an extremely low-budget VN using Ren-Py).
So if anyone is willing to compose for free, please reply or email me at: camatron3000@gmail.com
I will need some demos of songs you have written in the past. All instrumental, of course! As all of the music in my VN will be instrumental.
As for what has been completed in this project: The WNKN project is fairly new and not much has been started yet. We are currently working on writing out the basic outlines of each storyline and ending and character design. But I would like to get the music starting quickly, since it might take a while. I would also like to have the finished soundtrack even before the programming is started.
An overview of the whole project can be viewed HERE.
Thank you!
-Cammi

Re: Composer needed! (For the WNKN Project)
This is just my opinion, but I think a potential composer would fare better if you finished your draft before any music is written. That way, he or she could read the script and get an idea of what would work best with the story.
I'm an aspiring writer and voice talent with a passion for literature and an unhealthy attachment to video games. I am also a seasoned typo-sniper. Inquiries are encouraged. Friendly chats are welcome.

I am already providing a description of each song I would like written, and a description of each character that will have a theme. I will also provide the setting or situation that is going on.
I just wanted the music ahead of time so the programmer can put it in as soon as possible and have it when they need it.
