WNKN Project Recruitment [Writers, Coders, Artists, Etc.]

Hello and welcome to the WNKN Project! WNKN stands for "Watashi no Kokoro ni," (In My Heart) which is the name of the visual novel that my friends and I are creating.
Basically, it's kind of a cliche harem featuring a main protagonist named Kohaku Tao, his best friend Ryota Hamasaki and five girls. The story starts with Kohaku finding out that he will be in a completely different class than he is used to for his junior year of high school. On his first day of school, he hits it off with Kei Nakahara and Ryota Hamasaki from his class. Then, he meets Eiko Kishi, Yumiko Okabe, and Chie Kikuchi before eating lunch with a familiar childhood friend, Akane Tsuji.

So anyways, the positions I need filled are listed below with how many we have out of how many we need.

-Voice Actors: 7/7

-Logo Artist: 0/1
-Desktop Icon Artist: 0/1
-CG Artist: 1/1
-BG Artists: 1/2
-Composers: 2/2
-Programmers/Coders: 4/4

I'd be happy to help code, although, I am a beginner. What kind of coding do you need in particular? I'd be happy to help with just about everything besides customizing and editing the main menu (which I can definitely try, but I do have a hard time with that).

The problem is that I have no clue what to do when it comes to programming. This is my first VN, and I have never programmed anything before, let alone even seen people doing it.
I guess I just need someone who is able to put in the script and dialogue, one who is able to do the main menu, and then the credits. I also need someone who can put in the art and music where I want it to go, just by direction from me (the directer/writer) and my co-director/writer.

I know how to put in the script and all the choices and the like. I can also add music at certain parts, as well as add in the art. I can't do credits (as of now but I can learn) but I know for sure you'll need another person besides me for the main menu. Otherwise I'm happy to help!

Yep. You won't have to start for a while. We have to finish the script and art first, and the script isn't even started. ^^;

Hi, saw your post and wanted to offer my services. I'm not a master or anything, but I can definitely help handle what you're asking for, and maybe a bit more (CG Gallery and Music Gallery). I will admit that I am currently inexperienced with customizing the save/load/options menus but I think I'll have it figured out by the time you call on me, if you want my help of course.

I'm sorry, but I am seriously very new to this. xD
-What is a CG Gallery/Music Gallery?
-Are you asking to help with the start menus? Could you possibly do the save menus, options, etc?

Not a problem; welcome to this corner of the world!
Assuming you don't know what a 'CG' is in the context of visual novels, it's the special fullscreen images instead of the usual effect where you have a background and a standing sprite in front of it. Important game events often get a special CG to illustrate them.
A music gallery is just a gallery showcasing the music tracks in your visual novel that you can have if you want.
As for the menus; I can definitely customize the start menu. The save/load/option menus, I think I can do but I haven't actually messed with customizing them before so I don't want to promise anything in case it's harder than I think it is.

Ah I see! Yes, you could definitely do those things! And if you can't do the save and load menus, I have one other coder who probably can. You won't need to get started right away, so I will let you know when I need you.
