Otome/VN looking for a team ^^

#1 Post by Rika-san » Sat Jun 20, 2015 4:32 pm

Hello~!
My name is Rika, creator, founder and writer for the upcoming RikaPeak games.
I have started the basics of our debut project (So far, it's only me. orz) but I can't do everything on my own. I apologize in advance that I am unable to provide payment of any sort. If I wasn't broke I would definitely pay for the services given.
If the position is in green, it has been taken.
Anyways, what I am looking for are:
Programmers // I'm still new to python and all, so I keep messing up the codes*
Artists // for sprites, CGs and bgs. If someone can do all three that would be amazing to have the same style throughout. If there are multiple artists, the more the merrier. Less work for each of the artists!**
Composer // for the OST and all. and maybe another for sxf?
Someone who is experienced with UI's and stuff // I'm literally the worst coder ever. There might be a lot on the table for this one***
--
*The script isn't completed yet, -sorry- but I'll be sending off scenes and stuff so you won't be overwhelmed with scripts
there also may be voice acting soo
**I kinda have 10 characters so far and there will probably be character customization. +the style of characters I'm kinda picky with, beware
***For example: Inventory, stats viewing, etc.
--
Let me just mention that this project has no deadline, so everyone can take as long as they need!
NOTE: I will have to see examples of what you are capable of.
I will send the details of the project to those chosen for the team! And the team will be added to the RikaPeak team (Don't worry, you aren't tied to RPG forever! Just your name, an image you want, position, project and a little bit of words from you and thats it!) on the site Once it's published and all
For means of contact and friendship, don't hesitate to add me on skype << right over there!
Thank you so much in advance! All the hard work will be credited!!

You might want to change your text color to make your posts easier to read.

What kind of project at least theme wise? Also how much work do you actually need exactly? For example how many sprites, expressions, cgs, backgrounds, etc. And yeah a text color change would be easier on the eyes. ^-^

I killed the text formatting, and ask that the OP post details of her project, rather than just the desire to make one.

Theme wise it will be a fantasy/romance/slight thriller possibly (I'm working on posting in the ideas and linking it here)
Given the amount of characters there are currently, maybe around 3-4 sprites per character with 7-10 expressions but that is subject to change.
Maybe 4-5 cgs for each LI and around 6 for the story itself. And the backgrounds... I'm going to say at least 10.
For the music and such there may be a need for 15 scores or more.
All of this is subject to change, as I am still working on the script.
I apologize for the text colour ><||| please forgive me I'm still new at this ^^;

Sounds interesting. I'd like to know more about it, the story and characters. I can do sprites and CG -still need to get some practice on BG. Sadly, I haven't been able to digitally draw too much, I need to buy a new monitor, I'll do it by the end of the month.

My current dA: http://chaotiqueparadis.deviantart.com
Old works: http://moonlitvortex.deviantart.com/gal ... 477/FanArt
http://moonlitvortex.deviantart.com/gal ... -Paintings

Here is an example of a sprite: http://chaotiqueparadis.deviantart.com/ ... -536623371

What I'm searching for is a proyect/group to work in to improve my art and get some experience.

This is my first time searching for a proyect so, I wonder if we should talk this by PM?

I'm a sprite artist and know enough programming to make what you're asking, as well as a rather nice splash screen, animations, etc. I'm looking for a project like yours to work on in between paid work, so I'd be glad if you had me. If you'd like to see some of my work, head on over to my dA: http://theblueberryblanket.deviantart.com/ You can note me there (preferred) or here and we can discuss whether you'd like me on your project. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hey, I'm on deviantArt! Currently doing commissions.
