Okay! So! NaNoRenO2016!

Shoutout to Windchimes, who asked me if I was gonna do NaNo this year (and I said no) but it was too late. By merely mentioning it, the ideas were hatched and here I am, making a NaNo thread with an almost totally completed outline in tow. Sigh. Curse her.

NaNoRenO has come and gone-- here's our NaNo thread for more info: viewtopic.php?f=50&t=37368. It's actually better to check it so you can see the GUI and the sprites and such...

BASIC PLOT

Simone West's life is almost perfect. She's got great friends and a job she loves; the only thing left is to crush her rival in the dust, and the only way to do it is to show up at her best friend's wedding with the perfect man. Since he doesn't exist, she'll settle for Solomon Fox, a senior editor for international mens' fashion magazine 'Cufflinks'. Though they met when she was an intern three years ago, she's finally in the perfect position to get in his good graces when she gets promoted executive secretary for his office.

Her best friend's wedding fast approaching, Simone doesn't have a date but she does have a plan; she's got two weeks to catch the Fox!

The game includes two other love interests, but like I said, check our NaNo thread for more!

NECESSARY ASSETS

Co-Writer: Able to write a variety of small scenes for the stat raising aspect of the game, as well as some email back story plots. More information will be given once joining the team!

Sprite Artist*: 3 men, 1 women characters, 4-7 expressions each. (MC bust art is optional.)
*MUST BE ABLE TO DRAW BROWN & BLACK PEOPLE.

BG Artist: 3 BGs (Office interior, wedding reception hall, wedding dressing room)

Asset Artist: Will be drawing objects, like vector art (no coding experience necessary, see below)

Programmer*: Needs to be able to work with the items in these Cookbook threads:

> Not Necessary, but would be cool... Animated Calendar System [x]

I love the idea of this game and cant wait to see it come out. I can already imagine the game in so many ways. I am not able to help you with team though because I don't have any skills in those fields. But I really wanted to comment about how I really enjoy the idea!

Hey! I just noticed that we joined Lemma around the same time! ^^ Cool.

Thank you for your interest! My notes and outline are now about 10 pages so I'm quite literally dying to start writing! I really appreciate your expressing interest because I was worried that it wouldn't sound as cool as I imagine it (or as cool as my outline is telling me this is gonna be. Haha.)

It might not've come across as well as I'd like it to, but... I hope that when it's released people will like it anyway. Haha.

I'd like to partner up with you!
So I'm an artist and I can do Sprites and backgrounds, logos, pixel art, animated gifs and I can make GUI assets (I can't program at all though). Anything artsy is up my ally :^)

But since I hardly ever draw human people digitally (My sketchbook is full of drawings of people though haha) I sketched up an example of a female and male sprite. They are also doing some semi-dynamic poses, just so I can show off my skill in that area as well.

Also if things go super well I'd love to help you make art for a full game version of this NaNo (that is if you choose me hehe ^^) The story seems super fun and I'm a sucker for office romances.

Hello! I'd be interested in joining your group!

I'm an artist and willing to do CGs and sprite art (and any other art necessary). You can find samples of my work here, it's my commission page, but I'm not looking to be paid. It's just a convenient way to look at the styles I can work in.

The story looks really fun so far (I can really get behind an MC that knows what she wants and goes for it ), and even if you decide I'm not right for the group, I look forward to seeing it when it's done!
