Contract of Cards ~Joker~ ❥ Looking for partners!
Posted: Sat Sep 10, 2016 7:32 pm
Hello! I currently have a project titled Contract of Cards ~Joker~. It is a G x B visual novel produced by Rikka Project, and it will be the debut project. Therefore, I would like to make this project a reality and something that fans can play completely for free of charge. Because this project is free, you will not be receiving any physical payment in exchange for your work, but you will be properly credited for the work that you do.
To view more information on the project, you can visit the thread located in the Ideas sub-forum. It contains the Synopsis, Summary, Spoiler-free character descriptions and an F.A.Q section. More updates can be found on Rikka Project's social media page.
☙ Writers: I am looking for writers who can (1) develop the plot and character backgrounds and helping out with brainstorming ideas, and (2) write the script. I am looking for multiple writers, so writing the routes will be split between multiple writers. Although there are only 5 routes, they will be rather long. Writers are highly preferred to have Gmail accounts and an active use of Google Drive.
☙ CG artists: I am looking for multiple CG artists, as only having one artist may be a bit overwhelming, and so I want to split the workload. I am planning for there to be about 33-43 CGs total, so I am looking for 3 or 4 CG artists (with a similar style artwork) to split the workload.
☙ Background artist: I am looking for someone who can do the backgrounds of the game with different variations. There won't be an overwhelming amount of backgrounds, but there will be a considerable amount of outdoor backgrounds in addition to a few indoor.
☙ Graphics artist: I am looking for somebody who can (1) produce an original logo for the game, and (2) create the Graphical User Interface (better known as GUI design), which includes creating the basic screens, and a few more additional ones: that includes a CG gallery screen, credits screen, and a possible music room.
☙ Translators: I am currently looking for people who can translate the script from English to Japanese. If I find some translators whom are able to translate into Japanese, there may be voice acting in Japanese incorporated throughout the game. If not, I would at least like to seek out Japanese voice actors to do partial voicings.
☙ Composer: I am looking for someone who can compose original music that will end up being used in the game. I am looking for a mostly orchestral type of music, maybe with some acoustics mixed in as well for the main theme and a few other pieces. It is preferable if you know how to compose songs, but it is by all means not required.
☙ Japanese voice actors: I am looking for five male voice actors, preferably voice actors that are able to fluently speak Japanese. This position may be handed out to people by audition, though I am not entirely sure. Any and every one is welcome to apply though. It is preferable if voice actors know how to sing, but it is by all means not required.
☙ Other: If there are any other skill-sets you are willing to offer for this game, then that is also great. I am willing to hear you out on what you are experienced in, and we can work something out so then you are able to contribute to the development of the game.
There are multiple ways to contact me: (1) email me at rikka-project@hotmail.com, (2) private messaging me on this site, and/or (3) replying to this thread. You will receive the fastest reply if you send your application via email, although- depending on the number of applicants- it may take a few days as well to be able to give a definitive response. Please make sure to include some previous or mock samples of your work corresponding to the position(s) you are applying for in your email/private message/reply.
